The representatives of San Lorenzo Ruiz de Manila Parish participated in the Parish Encounter 2026, held on August 8, 2026, at the Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia Minor Basilica and National Shrine.

The gathering brought together representatives from different parishes across the Central and Bay Districts of the Archdiocese of Caceres, united in faith, fellowship, and a shared mission to journey together as young people in the Church.

The event was organized by CFCโ€“Youth for Christ, in partnership with the Caceres Youth Commission.

Yesterday, July 25, 2026, we were blessed to journey together in faith as we came to know more deeply the lives and inspiring witness of our patron saint and second patroness, St. Lorenzo Ruiz and St. Raphaela Mary

In the morning session, Rev. Fr. Fidel Mamerto A. Bagayaua shared with us the Courageous Faith of St. Lorenzo Ruiz, reminding us of the strength, courage, and unwavering faith of our first Filipino saint.

In the afternoon, Sr. Reylyn Agawin, ACI, led us into the Compassionate Heart of St. Raphaela Mary, inspiring us to embrace a life of love, compassion, humility, and service.

Together with the Parish Youth Ministry, different organizations, and all our participant, we were given the opportunity to learn more about the lives of these two inspiring saints and discover how their faith and love can continue to guide us in our own journey with God.

May the courageous faith of St. Lorenzo Ruiz and the compassionate heart of St. Raphaela Mary inspire us, especially the young, to live our faith boldly and serve others with love.
