Recent tragic events in our schools remind us of an urgent truth: protecting children must be a shared and non-negotiable responsibility.

We continue to call on parents, educational institutions, local government units, communities, and all duty bearers to strengthen child protection, enforce anti-bullying measures, expand mental health support, and ensure safe and nurturing learning environments.

Prevention requires vigilance. Protection requires action. Safeguarding requires all of us. 🤝 All hands on deck. Let us work together to ensure that every child is safe, heard, respected, and empowered to learn, grow, and thrive. Our children cannot wait. Their safety is our shared duty.

Recent tragic events in our schools are a stark reminder that we must act now to safeguard our students inside and outside the classroom. calls for immediate support and psychological first aid for all affected communities, alongside urgent policy reforms to ensure student safety and well-being nationwide:

⚫️ Enforce Anti-Bullying Policies: Strictly implement and monitor child protection mandates across all school divisions.

⚫️ Boost Mental Health Support: Urgent hiring and better support for guidance counselors and school counselors nationwide.

⚫️ Secure Learning Spaces: Partner with LGUs and communities to guarantee tighter campus safety.

⚫️ Pass the School Safety Bill: Goes beyond bullying by ensuring students' mental health is secure and prioritized.

Every Filipino learner deserves a safe, supportive space to learn, grow, and thrive.
