Pentecost Sunday marks the birth of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

On this sacred day, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary, filling them with courage to proclaim the Gospel to all nations. What began in the Upper Room became the living Church of Christ—united in faith, sanctified by grace, universal in mission, and founded upon the Apostles.

The Church was not created by human effort, but born through the power of the Holy Spirit. As members of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, we are called to continue the mission of Christ with faith, love, and boldness.

Come, Holy Spirit, renew the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in them the fire of Your love.

“I am with you always until the end of time”- Jesus 🩵

The Ascension reminds us that Jesus does not abandon His people. He reigns in glory, yet remains with us through the Holy Spirit, the sacraments, and His Church. His return to the Father opens the way for us to eternal life and points our hearts toward our true home in heaven.

As we prepare for this sacred day, let us lift our hearts above fear, sorrow, and worldly worries. Like the apostles, may we live with joy, faith, and hope, trusting that Christ reigns victorious over sin, death, and darkness.🕊️✨

Lord Jesus, as You ascended into heaven, lift our hearts to You and strengthen our faith. 🙏🏻💛
