ONE MONTH TO GO BEFORE THE TRASLACION | SEPTEMBER 11, 2026

For 316 years, generations of Bicolanos have journeyed with Inâ—a living devotion handed down through generations, expressed in prayer, sacrifice, and love for the Mother who leads us to Christ. Through the centuries, this devotion has become part of the life and faith of the Church of Bicol.

The Traslación is more than the transfer of an image. It is a penitential journey—an invitation to examine our lives, leave behind self-interest, and conform ourselves more faithfully to the will of God. In walking with Inâ, we are reminded to become servants of one another—to carry especially the lost, the least, and the last.

As we prepare for this year’s Peñafrancia celebrations, plan your pilgrimage with prayer and intention. Check the official Peñafrancia 2026 schedules posted on the pages of the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Minor Basilica and National Shrine, The Naga Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish, and make the necessary preparations to participate reverently in the celebrations.

Together, let us gather as a growing Church—walking with Inâ, drawing closer to El Divino Rostro.

Solemn Installation of the 9th Parish Priest

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cáceres and the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish cordially invite the faithful to the Solemn Installation of Rev. Fr. Bernie Anthony V. Ramirez as the 9th Parish Priest of Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish.

The celebration will be presided over by His Grace, Most Rev. Rex Andrew C. Alarcon, DD, Archbishop of Cáceres.

The Solemn Installation will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 9:00 in the morning, at the Our Lady of Peñafrancia Parish, Peñafrancia Avenue, Pilgrim City of Naga.

We invite everyone to join us in this significant occasion as we welcome Fr. Bernie into our parish community and entrust his pastoral ministry to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the maternal care of Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

Today, we remember the Most Reverend Leonardo Z. Legaspi, OP, DD, Third Archbishop of Cáceres, with gratitude for his faithful service, humble leadership, and dedication to the Church.

Through his life and ministry, Archbishop Legaspi inspired many to live the Gospel with faith, compassion, and courage. May his legacy continue to encourage us to be bearers of Christ's light wherever we are.

Let us pray for the eternal repose of his soul.

"Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen."
