Novena to Saint Carlo Acutis Day 4

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer (prayed each day)
Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I thank you for all the grace and favours with which you enriched the soul of Saint Carlo Acutis during his 15 years on this earth. Through the merits of this Angel of Youth, grant me the grace which I earnestly seek (ask the grace which you seek).

MEDITATION FOR THE NINTH DAY
Saint Carlo Acutis, grant me the grace of graces,
that is, the final perseverance and a holy death.
Amen.

Day 4: “Our soul is like a hot-air balloon…if by chance there is a mortal sin, the soul falls to the ground. Confession is like the fire underneath the balloon enabling the soul to rise again…it is important to go to confession often.”
Saint Carlo Acutis, you who have lived this sacrament of reconciliation so well, give me the grace constantly to seek confession and the grace of deep contrition. Amen.

Pray five “Our Father”, five “Hail Mary”, and five “Glory Be” to give thanks to God for the grace granted Carlo during his life.

Final Prayer (prayed after Meditation each day)
Almighty God, Father of Mercy, raises Saint Carlo Acutis to the glory of the altars so that through him you will be even more glorified. Give us the honour of calling him “Saint,” for he lived Your Will in all things. And through his merit, give me the grace that I so ardently desire. Amen.

CLOSING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, you gave us Saint Carlo Acutis, filled with love for the Eucharist and a joyful heart to share the Gospel. Through his witness, you remind us that holiness is not distant or unattainable, but possible in the ordinary events of our lives. Saint Carlo, intercede for us, that we may love Jesus as you did, see Him in the poor and forgotten, and use our gifts for God. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

PRAYER TO SAINT CARLO ACUTIS
O God our Father, We thank you for giving us Carlo, a model of life for young people, and a message of love for all. You made him fall in love with your son Jesus, making the Eucharist his “highway to heaven.” You gave him Mary as a beloved mother, and you made him, through the Rosary, a cantor of her tenderness. Receive his prayer for us. Look above all upon the poor, whom he loved and assisted. Grant me too, through his intercession, the grace that I need (mention your intention). Amen.

Saint Carlo Acutis, Pray for us.

In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
