โจ BRAND NEW LOGO! โจ
The NCSAT Campus Youth Ministry Logo embodies the mission, spirituality, and identity of the ministry. Every symbol was intentionally chosen to reflect the Catholic faith, Marian devotion, and the call of the youth to live as faithful disciples of Christ.
1. IHS โ Christ at the Center
At the top of the logo is the IHS, a Christogram derived from the first three letters of the Greek name of Jesus (ฮฮฮฃฮฮฅฮฃ). It is one of the most recognized symbols of Christianity and serves as a reminder that Jesus Christ is the heart and foundation of the Campus Youth Ministry. The cross rising from the โHโ emphasizes Christโs sacrifice, resurrection, and His invitation for every young person to follow Him.
2. Monogram of Mama Mary โ Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia
At the center of the logo is the Monogram of Mama Mary, representing Our Lady of Peรฑafrancia, the heavenly patroness of the Bicol Region. As the spiritual mother of the youth, she symbolizes faith, humility, love, protection, and guidance. The motto surrounding the monogram, โAd Ser Viebam Vieniebamโ (โTo serve, I cameโ), reflects the ministryโs commitment to selfless service after the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
3. Palm Leaves โ St. Pedro Calungsod
The palm leaves represent St. Pedro Calungsod, the young Filipino catechist and martyr. In Christian tradition, palm branches symbolize martyrdom, victory, courage, and unwavering faith. St. Pedro Calungsod inspires the members of the Campus Youth Ministry to courageously witness Christ, remain faithful despite challenges, and dedicate their lives to serving God and others.
4. Rosary โ St. Lorenzo Ruiz
The rosary symbolizes St. Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint and the patron saint of the parish church that serves the NCSAT community. His life of steadfast faith, courage, and complete trust in God serves as an inspiration to the students. Together with St. Pedro Calungsod, St. Lorenzo Ruiz is recognized as one of the patron saints of Filipino youth, encouraging young people to deepen their prayer life, remain faithful to Christ, and courageously live out their Catholic values.
5. Shield โ Protection and Unity
The shield signifies Godโs protection over every member of the Campus Youth Ministry. It also represents strength, unity, and the commitment to defend the Catholic faith while fostering a safe and nurturing community where students grow spiritually and morally.
6. Colors and Overall Design
* Gold (Yellow) symbolizes Godโs glory, holiness, wisdom, and the joy of serving Him.
* Red represents Christโs sacrificial love, courage, and the zeal of the youth in evangelization.
* Blue reflects the Blessed Virgin Maryโs purity, faithfulness, and maternal care.
