This morning, we were once again reminded that Jesus, our Lord the Good Shepherd, lovingly guides us in our journey of faith leading us with care, wisdom, and unwavering presence. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Ace Baracena, whose message inspired us to trust more deeply in the Shepherd’s voice and follow where He leads.

Today, we were blessed to have Fr. Jene Lois M. Sarmiento as our speaker. His topic, Pedagogy of Accompaniment, encouraged us to lead and guide others in recognizing our brothers and sisters with compassion and understanding. He emphasized that the ultimate aim of accompaniment is to walk with others in their journey, helping them grow, feel valued, and experience genuine connection.

Today marks a meaningful milestone in the journey of the Daughters of Mary, Mother of the Church Institute. This afternoon, a Thanksgiving Mass was presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Rex Andrew Alarcon, followed by the formal turnover of the Chapel, Infirmary, and Rip-rap, as well as the blessing of the Infirmary and Rip-rap.

In his homily, he reminded us that in moments of weakness and hunger, it is God who provides all that we truly need. The Infirmary and Rip-rap stand as a testament to God’s providential love and His surpassing graces.

Also present were Hon. Mayor Marivic Solano, Mayor of the Municipality of Pili, along with the staff and heads of PAFCPIC.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PAFCPIC and to all who generously shared their time, talents, and resources in making this vision a reality.
