Because of Him,we will all live again!🤍

The resurrected Savior showed Himself to those He loved.

He appeared to Mary at the empty tomb. He walked with other disciples as they traveled to a town called Emmaus. He shared meals with His followers. And on the other side of the world, He appeared to those in the Americas.

Today, faithful people around the world know the truth—that Jesus Christ lives! And because of that, each one of us will be resurrected someday. Death is not the end.

All of this because of our Savior’s ! That is what we celebrate on Easter.

The Naga Stake Annual Conference was held yesterday at the Naga Stake Center. About 730 people, consisting of Church members, friends of different faiths, and invited guests, attended.

Messages from assigned speakers covered various topics but were united in delivering a strong message about the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ in our lives. Stake President Michael T. Diaz emphasized what Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley said: that fathers should live worthily so their wives and children will be proud.
Phillipines Area Seventy Elder Bartolome Madriaga focused on centering our lives on the gospel of Jesus Christ, which brings peace and harmonious relationships within families, and urged attendees to follow the admonition of "The Family: A Proclamation to the World."

Along with other speakers, the crowd listened intently and felt the power of the Spirit of God while the choir rendered beautiful hymns with heavenly voices. The Annual Conference served as a great opportunity to listen together, be edified by the word of God, and spend time with families and friends.

Setting a goal does not mean, achieving all of it perfectly. But, making a few steps can make a big difference to ourselves. Line upon line, percepts upon percepts. It may be unnoticeable for now but in the future that little and consistent habit, will serve us a higher purpose.

It isn’t about doing a lot—it’s about inviting the light of Christ into the everyday. Small, consistent steps can transform an entire year.

This Christmas season, we remember the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, whose life teaches us to disagree without being disagreeable, to replace contention with forgiveness, and to choose love over pride.

As we celebrate His birth, may we build bridges of understanding in our homes, our communities, and our hearts. Even small, Christlike choices to listen, forgive, and love can bring His peace into a world that needs it.

This Christmas, let us by becoming peacemakers.

A blessed and joyous Christmas everyone.

Mayor Leni Robredo expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the City Government of Naga and its people to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints (LDS) with LDS Naga-Philippine Stake President Michael Diaz for donating P8 million worth of medical equipment intended for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Naga City General Hospital (NCGH).

Robredo said the city is grateful not only for the essential medical apparatuses but also for the enduring legacy of compassion and service that LDS members continue to share with communities across the country.

“What is highly commendable is the act of genuine generosity and compassion, which bring hope and inspiration, especially to those who are downtrodden and destitute,” the mayor said.

During the turnover and acceptance ceremony, the mayor recalled the Church’s vital partnership with the Angat Buhay Foundation during her tenure as congresswoman of Camarines Sur’s third district—a collaboration that continues today with her leadership in Naga City.

In her Saturday morning radio program “Oras ni Mayor” over DWIZ, Robredo also thanked NCGH chief of hospital Dr. Joseph Sanchez and assistant chief Dr. Jamela Mangente, who led the hospital’s efforts to secure the specialized NICU equipment.

The donated items are essential in providing life-saving care for premature and critically ill newborns. These include:
• Radiant warmers (5 units), which provide controlled heat to keep newborns warm immediately after birth or during procedures while allowing easy access for medical staff.
• Incubators (3 units), enclosed and temperature-regulated chambers that maintain body heat and humidity for premature or sick infants who need stable environmental support.
• Neonatal patient monitors (8 units) that continuously track vital signs—heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure—and alert staff when readings fall outside safe levels.
• A central monitor (1 unit), enabling nurses and physicians to view and integrate vital signs from multiple infants at once, allowing faster response to emergencies.
• Phototherapy lamps (3 units), which emit blue-spectrum light to break down excess bilirubin in infants with jaundice, making it easier for their bodies to eliminate.
• Kangaroo care phototherapy blankets (2 units), flexible light-emitting pads that allow babies to receive jaundice treatment while being held in comforting skin-to-skin contact with their parents.
• Suction machines (9 units), which clear mucus and secretions from a newborn’s airway to prevent obstruction and support easier breathing.

Robredo said the equipment will significantly improve the NCGH’s ability to care for its tiniest and most vulnerable patients, describing the donation as a “blessing that will save lives and uplift families for many years to come.” I via Jason B. Neola
