OUR RESPONSE TO THE ARGUMENTS TO AN ACCOUNT NAMED "CEPHAS" IN DEFENSE OF CARDINAL BURKE
1. First of all, its wrong to compare the two Bishops because they have different charisma and different way to fulfill their Episcopal Mission, but the mission of the Pope is more larger because he is the pope, and Cardinal Burke is a cardinal to HELP and to GIVE GUIDANCE to the pope on teachings, doctrines, and pastoral care for the good of the Church here on earth.
2. REMEMBER when the Lord Jesus Christ encounters the pharisees He does not say "Ohh come now, i forgive you, thats ok.." HE DOES NOT, when He saw the people in the temple doing sinfull things he did not just stand and offer them ""MERCY"" or ""COMPASSION"" thats why the GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT WHO IS ALSO THE GOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT punishes sinners, not because he is wrathful but because LAW and DISCIPLINE is IMPORTANT, GOD DID NOT DISOBEY OR DESTROY HIS """OWN""" LAW JUST TO "FORGIVE" or "GIVE MERCY AND COMPASSION" to sinners, look at S***m snd Gommorah.
3. We do not deny that the Holy Father Francis, the current Bishop of Rome that he is "simple" or "humble", we do not deny that because that is his personality but when he speaks or teach about DOCTRINE or the TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH, he gives confusion to the faithful and he disrupt the current TEACHINGS OF THE HOLY MOTHER CHURCH, we can say that Pope Francis is promoting and presenting "Liberal Catholicism" which is dangerous for the 1.4 Billion Catholics all over the world.
4. Cardinal Burke's love for the Traditional Teachings of the Church is not wrong because it is still the CORRECT VALID TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH OF THE NOW AND THEN, and he is known because of his great love for the TRADITIONAL LITURGY thats why he is wearing the CORRECT and RIGHT vestments when he is celebrating the mass, he always wear his cassock (THE RIGHT VESTURE FOR A PRIEST) when he is walking on the streets because that's what the church says and nothing is wrong on that THAT IS WHY IT IS VERY WRONG AND IT IS A SIN TO JUDGE THE GOOD CARDINAL BECAUSE HE IS JUST "WEARING" THE CORRECT AND RIGHT VESTMENTS.
Remember what St. Francis of Assisi said
"Poverty ends at the foot of the Altar"
And the and the Ecclesiastical Liturgy is in many respects nothing else but the metaphorical language of the doctrine of faith - Dr. Nieubarn O.P
That is why without the Liturgy, its like a Church without Christ, that is why we give effort on giving the HIGHEST AND THE GREATEST OFFERING AND SACRIFICE WE CAN GIVE TO GOD IN THE LITURGY AND IN DOING GOOD THINGS TO OUR BRETHREN.
And if its wrong to
a. WEAR CORRECT AND RIGHT VESTMENTS FOR THE LITURGY
b. ADHERANCE AND OBEDIENCE TO THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH
therefore a lot of PEOPLE, PRIESTS, BISHOPS, CARDINALS, POPES AND A LOT OF SAINTS "COMMITED A SIN" just like, St Pius X, St. Philip Neri, St. Ignatius of Loyola, Pope Benedict XVI, Pope John XXIII, all the pre Vatican 2 and after vatican 2 popes, saints and faithful had committed a sin...
5. On pastoral care for the people, Cardinal burke was more vocal regarding the teachings of the church but he is also vocal on caring for the people pastoraly, when he is going to different countries, when he was the Archbishop of St. Louis, Bishop of La Crosse etc... that is part of his mission as a bishop and part of the Triplex Munus of Christ.
6. Its important to adhere and to follow the TEACHINGS OF THE MATER ET MAGISTRA, its laws and regulations must be strictly followed to avoid confusion, destruction, inclarity in the faith of the People.
Pope Francis is humble we cannot deny that but his way of teaching is causing confusion and inclarity and disruption in the faith of the people, he is tolerating Priests, Bishops, Cardinals who presents heretical teachings like "Pride Ideology" just likethe Bishops of Germany and Fr. James Martin etc...
His teachings slowly promotes Liberal Catholicism and some scholars and theologians are saying that he is undermining of the Deposit of Faith that can be very dangerous to the Church and CHRISTS TEACHING DOES NOT ONLY FOCUS ON "MERCY" AND "COMPASSION" BUT "FOLLOWING" AND "OBEYING" GOD RATHER THAN MAN.
Humility, Mercy and Compassion is NOTHING if you cause confusion among the faithfuls.
We still love Pope Francis and we are in cummunion with the current Bishop of Rome, Supreme Pastor of the Universal Church.
