With deep sorrow and heartfelt gratitude, the Northwestern Panay Mission extends our sincere condolences to the family, loved ones, and ministry partners of our dear mentor in the Publishing Ministry, Pastor Ferdinand Esico.
Pastor Esico possessed a rare gift of awakening passion for mission through the Publishing Ministry. Through his life and ministry, many learned that Literature Evangelism is not merely the distribution of books, but a sacred calling to bring hope, truth, and the love of Christ into every home and every heart. His dedication, wisdom, and quiet perseverance became an inspiration to many workers, students, and missionaries who continue the work today.
Though our hearts grieve his passing, we rejoice in the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy of faith, sacrifice, humility, and commitment to God’s mission. His voice may now be silent, but the influence of his ministry continues to echo through every literature evangelist encouraged, every soul reached, and every life transformed through the printed page.
As we remember Pastor Esico, may we also continue the mission he loved so dearly. His life reminds us that those who dedicate themselves to God’s work leave footprints that time can never erase.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116:15
From your Northwestern Panay Mission family, we honor his memory and pray that God’s comforting presence be upon everyone mourning this great loss.
