"MAAYUNG ADLAWNG IGPAPAHULAY"
Life often presents us with the temptation to take control, to build our own security, and to elevate our own names.
Yet, like the people of Babel, we are called to confront this desire not with our own strength, but with a humble recognition of God's supremacy.
The people of Babel did not approach God with obedience or worship, but with an ambition to build a tower that would reach to the heavens and make a name for themselves.
When we encounter the powerful urge to rely solely on our own abilities, let us remember that true success is born not from our pride but from dependence on God, who is our ultimate architect.
Our confidence must rest in the assurance that God’s plan can overcome any human ambition, no matter how grand.
The story of Babel reminds us that human pride can turn the most unified effort into confusion and the strongest among us into a scattered people.
Even when the path seems clear and our own designs appear flawless, relying on our own strength leads to a breakdown of communication and a loss of shared purpose.
May we be humble in our purpose, obedient in our calling, and ready to submit our plans to God, knowing that our unity and our victories bring glory to Him alone.
In surrendering our ambitions to Him, we open the door to true community and experience the fulfillment of His promises.
Let us embrace our callings with humility and courage, confident that just as God established the nations from the people of Babel, so He empowers each of us to build lives that honor Him. His love never fails, and His plans for us are always for good.
