You are wrong to say that you are too far gone to be reached by God's grace. You are not too far; in fact, you are closer than you think. Those who truly see their sin before a holy God are the very ones who recognize their need for a Lord and Savior.

You might say:

I am the worst sinner.
I am filthy before God, who is holy.
I am so drowned in sin that no one can rescue me.
I am a wretched sinner with no hope of being forgiven.
I do not know if God would accept a sinner like me.
I do not know if God could love me for who I am.
I am too broken and hopeless because of my sins, and no one sees or understands me.
I committed a heinous sin, and I do not think God can still forgive me.

But Jesus says:
“I died for you.”

You may have many excuses for not coming to the Lord Jesus, but all of them only prove how much you truly need Him. There is no one who understands; there is no one who seeks God. All have turned away; together we have become worthless. There is no one who does good, not even one.

Despite all this, God sent His only Son not to condemn us, but to save us. Jesus came willingly to seek and save us.

Jesus, who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage. Rather, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross.

We are all fallen and wretched sinners in need of God's grace and mercy, and this was fully demonstrated through His death on the cross. We were all separated from God because of our sins, but God demonstrated His great love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

His death was the full payment for our sins.
His death was a victory for us sinners.
His death gave us the gift of eternal life and reconciliation.
His death gave us freedom, hope, peace and new life.

When you have medicine and you know it can heal your sickness, you take it so that you may be healed. The greatest sickness of humanity that needs to be dealt with is sin. It is the root cause of all the problems and suffering in this world. Sin is a deadly curse upon humanity, and the only cure for sin is the Lord Jesus Christ.

We need healing, freedom and forgiveness from our sins, and it is only through the wounds and blood of Jesus that we can be completely healed and forgiven.

Do not delay in coming to Jesus and surrendering your life to Him. If you are reading this, you still have time to decide in whom you will place your faith for salvation.

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ—that He died and rose again to pay the penalty for your sins: past, present, and future. Believing in Jesus means being fully convinced that only His death can wash our sins white as snow.

Acts 16:30-31
He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Following Jesus means denying ourselves and taking up our cross daily. Following the Lord will cost us everything because it truly means total surrender. Following God is an act of worship and giving our lives without reservation.

Becoming a follower of Jesus is the best decision we could ever make in this lifetime, without any regrets. If you haven't decided yet, seek the Lord with all your heart, and He will reveal Himself to you. If you want to truly live, follow Jesus!

Mark 8:34
Then He called the crowd to Him along with His disciples and said: “Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.

We are in this world but we are not of this world. We are living in this world yet we are living for the Lord. Our lives do not belong here, it belongs to God, our Creator.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, we are called to long for heavenly things, not earthly things, because our citizenship is in heaven, and we serve the King whose kingdom is everlasting. Our hearts yearn not for temporary treasures but for eternal treasures, because we are made to be united with the Lord for eternity.

Colossians 3:1-3
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

I may not see it yet, I may not feel it but I know You are working silently, mysteriously and purposely in my waiting season. Your Word has the final say not my feelings.

You allow this season in my life to teach my heart to be patient because there is time for everything. You make me wait to teach me to value the fruit of my prayer once I received it.

Waiting could be Your protection when my plans are destroying me. Waiting could be Your redirection when my heart is no longer anchored to Your will. Waiting could be my preparation for God's best that is yet to come.

Lord, teach me to surrender everything—my desires, plans and future to You. I know You are sovereign and in control. In my waiting season, help me trust and obey You, especially when things get harder and it's easier to give up on waiting and disobey You. I know You are worthy of my trust and obedience in all seasons.

May I remain faithful to You even when my prayers are unanswered, my plans aren't realized and my future is uncertain. Even if I get tired of waiting or don't get the answer I want, may I remain steadfast in faith and in Your presence, when it's easier to walk away. I know You are faithful in keeping Your promises, and Your plans are way better than mine.

Lord, remind me that Your thoughts are not my thoughts, Your ways are not my ways and Your timeline is different from mine. Not my will but Your will be done. This season is testing my faith in You and intimacy with You. Yet, waiting won't be a burden, for I know that You are working all things for my good and for Your purpose.

Lord, please give me the strength to wait on You and wisdom in the process. I will wait on You above all, because You are worth waiting for.

Romans 8:28
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."

Isaiah 40:31
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

Maybe the only sacrifice you could offer to God right now is a broken spirit—a broken and repentant heart.

You can't hide anything from the Lord. Not even your sin. Your thoughts, desires and actions are not hidden from His sight. He knows everything about you because He sees the real condition of your heart.

God is merciful and gracious enough to receive and embrace a heart full of repentance and brokenness toward sin.

Sometimes, the most pleasing sacrifice you could bring to a holy God is the lowest and most broken state of your heart because of the sin you've commited against Him. The Lord will not despise the most genuine sacrifice.

Your sin separates you from God, but it is the same reason that will cause you to bend your knees and humble yourself before Him.

Confess everything to the Lord, not with a pretentious heart but with all honesty and sincerity, for He is willing and just forgive you and cleanse you from all of your sins and unrighteousness.

The only one who is able to fix your broken heart caused by sin is the One who created it. Sin is a deadly spiritual heart disease that only Jesus can heal.

Christ already died for all your sins and paid it all at the cross, so you could freely receive God's forgiveness and gift of salvation. Without the sacrifice of the precious blood of Jesus, your sins will never be forgiven.

If you haven't made this very important decision in your life, there's still hope for you because Christ died for your sins. Put your faith in Christ alone, who loved you and gave His life for you.

“Jesus Himself bore our sins” in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His wounds you have been healed.”-1 Peter 2:24

The Lord has always been working to this very day.

In this context, Jesus responded to the Jewish leaders who were questioning His actions, particularly His healing on the Sabbath. In His defense, He said, “My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working.”

Jesus refers to God as "My Father," indicating a personal and intimate relationship with God. This was a radical claim, as it implied equality with God, which was considered blasphemous by the Jewish leaders.

The concept of God working continuously is rooted in Jewish understanding of God's providence and care for creation, as seen in passages like Psalm 121:4, which states that God who watches over Israel does not slumber or sleep.

Jesus also aligns His actions with those of the Heavenly Father, asserting His divine authority and mission. This statement reinforces the idea that Jesus' works, including His miracles and teachings, are in harmony with God's will. It also foreshadows the greater works Jesus would accomplish, such as His death and resurrection.

Theologically, this phrase emphasizes the unity of the Father and the Son, a theme that is further explained in the Gospel of John, particularly in John 10:30, where Jesus states, "I and the Father are one."

The Lord is continuously working mightily, mysteriously, powerfully and purposefully, even before the foundation of the world. He never stops working, and no one could ever stop Him from working.

Jesus is still saving souls.
Jesus is still forgiving and cleansing sins.
Jesus is still convicting and purifying hearts.
Jesus is still changing and transforming lives.
Jesus is still healing broken hearts and spirits.
Jesus is still restoring broken marriages, families, friendships and relationships.
Jesus is still shining His light on this crooked and fallen world.

God is still working miracles.
God is still answering prayers.
God is still keeping His promises.
God is still fighting for His people.
God is still conforming His children to His image.
God is still making ways for His plans to prevail.
God is still doing what seems impossible to men.
God is still working all things together for His purpose.
God is still doing things according to His ways, His will, and His sovereignty.

The Lord is still guiding, sustaining, and growing His ministries.
The Lord is still advancing His Kingdom, which is eternal and unshakable.
The Lord is still working mightily through the lives of His children.
The Lord is still loving and edifying the body of Christ, His church.

People may not see it with their own eyes, but we, the followers of Christ, know, believe, and see that God is working behind the scenes for His glory and our good.

God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called.

Jesus called ordinary people just like His first disciples and then did extraordinary things through them. He can also do great and mighty things through your life.

Hebrews 13:20-21
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Not because I am strong enough, but because You are my strength.
Not because I am good enough, but because You are a good and faithful Father to me.
Not because I am wise enough, but because You are my wisdom.
Not because I am lucky, but because You have poured out Your blessings upon me.
Not because I'm capable on my own, but because Your grace has carried me all along.

Not because I have overcome many trials by myself, but because You were with me through every storm.
Not because I have achieved a lot on my own, but because You have granted and entrusted me with so many blessings.
Not because I have acquired so many things, but because You have answered my prayers.

I survived because,

You are a miracle worker.
You are faithful to Your promises.
You are my helper, comforter and counselor.
You are my provider, protector and sustainer.
You are my rock, refuge and fortress.
You are my rescuer and deliverer.
You are my faithful friend and confidant.
You work all things together for my good.
You have been gracious and merciful to me.
You have been so good to me.
Your grace is sufficient for me.
Your power is made perfect in my weakness.
You are always by my side.
You never leave nor forsake me.
You are my Lord and my God whose love is unfailing.

I couldn't make it through this year without You, Lord. You are truly the reason I survived and will continue to survive. Apart from You, I can do nothing. All my mouth and heart can say is, 'Thank you, Lord!' I survived this year with You and because of You. I believe I will survive and thrive the next year too, with You because You remain the same yesterday, today and forever.

Thank you, Abba!
Thank you, Lord Jesus!
Thank you, my ever-present Helper!

2 Corinthians 12:9-10
But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

"JESUS" means "Yahweh saves," deriving from the Hebrew Yeshua (ישוע) and signifying His divine mission to save people from their sins.

Yahweh: The name of God in the Hebrew Bible.
Yasha: The Hebrew verb meaning "to rescue," "deliver," or "save".
Iēsous: The Greek version used in the New Testament, from which "Jesus" is derived.

Why do we need the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

📖 We are all sinners (Rom. 3:10, 3:23, 5:12)
📖 The wages of sin is death (Rom. 6:23)
📖 We will face judgement (Heb. 9:27)
📖 We can't save ourselves (Eph. 2:8)

The greatest gift was born in a manger and wrapped in strips of linen. His Name is Jesus! He was born to bear all of our sins at the cross of Calvary once and for all. He lived, died, and rose again to save all of us from the punishment of our sins that we all deserve.

If Jesus Christ hadn't come to us, we would be forever condemned of our sins, and we would die in our sins. If He wasn't born, we would be hopeless, we would suffer God's judgement and holy wrath against our sins, and our sins would never be forgiven.

Without the shedding of the blood of Jesus, there is no forgiveness of our sins. The greatest miracle ever recorded throughout history and the greatest prophecy fulfilled was the birth and incarnation of Jesus Christ to this fallen world.

He is the Son of God. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He is the Lord of lords. He is the King of kings. He is the Light and the Savior of the world. No other Name is given by which we can be saved. Only the Lord, King and Savior Jesus Christ!

Jesus is God's greatest gift who gave His life for us. He gave Himself as an atoning sacrifice who paid the wages of our sins in full through His precious blood. He was born so we could be born again. He died so we could have eternal life. What an undeserved gift that a Lord and Savior would come to this world, and die for us sinners!

Repent and believe in your heart that Jesus has already paid for all your sins in the past, present and future and you will be saved.

Matthew 1:21
She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.
