Pamatan-on joins Dagyaw 2025

47 youth of ICP-M joined Dagyaw 2025, the annual gathering of youth of Diocese of Bacolod, held on December 5-6 at the VMA Global College.

With the theme "Hope does not disappoint", the event highlights youth's faith and hope in times of sufferings and challenges.

Organized by the Commission on Youth headed by Rev. Fr. Arnel Pabalate, Dagyaw gathered over 2,400 youth across the Diocese.

As the event concluded, may the youth continue to serve with passion, faith, perseverance.

𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗔𝗡-𝗢𝗡 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Wearing white and carrying signs, the ICP-Murcia Youth Ministry joined the Trillion Peso March at Bacolod plaza, September 21.

"Tama na!" and "Ikulong ang Korap!" are the shout of the youth expressing their frustration to the billions lost to corrupt projects and called for transparency and accountability.

The presence of the youth to the event signifies a powerful role of young generations in fighting corruption and other social issues through faith and action.

𝗜𝗖𝗣-𝗠 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗶𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

To showcase skills, talents, and sportsmanship while strengthening relationships among members, the Immaculate Conception Parish–Murcia Youth Ministry headed by Parish Youth Coordinator Rev. Fr. Jeric Daryl Lapido held a Sportsfest at the ICP-M covered court on August 30.

Youth members from the Lectors and Commentators Ministry, Altar Servers Ministry, Welcoming Ministry, and Choir Ministry opened the event by gathering at the court.

The program began with an animation led by the Welcoming Ministry, followed by team presentations that filled the venue with energy and excitement.

The games officially started with simultaneous matches of basketball and badminton.

In the afternoon, the competition continued with volleyball, chess, scrabble, and checkers played simultaneously.

After the games, certificates and tokens were awarded to participants and winners from each category.

Rev. Fr. Salvador Barcelona delivered the closing remarks, emphasizing that the true essence of the event was to foster connection and build relationships among ministry members.

Rev. Fr. Erly John Tayco concluded the event with a final blessing and a photo opportunity.

This Sportsfest marks the beginning of the ministry’s commitment to grow in faith not only through service, but through friendship. The event will continue every 5th Saturday of the month.

YOUTH FORMATION KAG WORKSHOP SANG DCY BACOLOD, NANGIN MADINALAG-ON; 31 KA MGA YOUTH LEADERS, NAGPAKIGBAHIN

Nangin madinalag-on ang ginpatigayon nga Youth Formation kag Workshop sang Diocesan Commision on Youth (DCY) Bacolod nga ginhiwat sa St. John Marie Vianney (Domus Dei), ciudad sang Silay humalin Agosto 22 tubtob Agosto 24, 2025.

Ini ang gintambungan sang kapin 31 ka mga Youth Leaders gikan sa 12 ka mga Bikaryato sang Diocese sang Bacolod nga kabahin sang Diocesan Youth Coordinating Council (DYCC).

Sa pagpanguna sang DCY Bacolod kaupod ang duha ka mga katapo sang 'Bukal ng Tipan' ang nasambit nga aktibidad ang may titulo nga 'Catch the Vision, Live the Dream'.

Tinutuyo sang aktibidad nga mag-improbar ang relasyon sa tunga sang mga DYCC members lakip na ang pagpasanyog sang ila komunikasyon sa isa kag isa.

Nangin sentro sang pila ka mga session kag talks ang mga kinaiya kag kalidad sang mga pamatan-on bilang mga lideres.

Kabahin man diri ang mga tikang kag ihibalo sang mga ini kun paano ang nagakaigo nga pagplano, pagpatigayon sang aktibidad sa ila tagsa ka mga parokya kag bikaryato nga naga-angut sa tinutuyo sang simbahan.

Nagapadul-ong naman sang pagpasalamat ang DCY Bacolod sa pagpanguna ni Rev. Fr. Arnel 'Pabs' Pabalate bilang Youth Director sa mga Kaparian sa Diocese sang Bacolod sa ila padayun nga pagsuporta kag pagsakdag sa mga aktibidad sang pamatan-on.

After a long time apart, the Youth of Immaculate Conception Parish - Murcia finally gathered once again for a heartfelt and meaningful meeting. The presence of their Youth Director and Assistant Priest, Rev. Fr. Jeric Daryl T. Lapido, brought warmth and inspiration to everyone, along with their former youth president, Eliana Flor J. C. Sustento, whose support was deeply appreciated. The meeting served as a reminder of the vital role the youth play in the life of the Church — revisiting the contributions they've made in the past and encouraging them to continue growing in faith, service, and unity.
