It’s amazing how our perspective changes when we look back.
There were seasons when I didn’t understand what God was doing.
I prayed.
I waited.
I cried.
I wondered if things would ever get better.
Some days, I was full of faith.
Other days, I was simply trying to make it through.
There were moments when I questioned His timing and wondered why He seemed so quiet.
But looking back, I realize…
God was never silent.
He was working.
While I was waiting, He was preparing.
While I was worrying, He was making a way.
While I was asking, “Lord, where are You?” He was already ahead of me, taking care of things I couldn’t see.
That’s what amazes me the most.
The battle was never mine alone.
God was already fighting for me long before I saw the victory.
I used to ask,
“Lord, why is this happening?”
Now my prayer has changed.
“Lord, thank You for never letting go of me.”
Looking back, I can see that every challenge had a purpose.
Some closed doors were actually God’s protection.
Some delays were His preparation.
Some prayers weren’t answered the way I wanted because He had something better in mind.
At the time, I couldn’t understand it.
Now, I’m thankful He knew better than I did.
Every difficult season became another opportunity to experience His grace.
The harder the battle, the more I discovered that His strength never runs out.
When I had nothing left to give…
He carried me.
When I couldn’t see a way forward…
He made one.
When fear filled my heart…
He reminded me that He was still in control.
Kasama natin Siya.
Looking back, I realize I didn’t make it because I was strong. I made it because God was faithful.
And that’s why this truth means so much to me.
Hindi Mo lang ako tinulungan.
Hindi Mo lang ako iniligtas.
Pinanalo Mo rin ako, Lord.
The things I thought would break me became part of my testimony.
The battles I wanted to avoid became the moments that helped me know God more deeply.
Looking back, I wouldn’t choose the pain.
But I would never trade what I learned about God’s faithfulness because of it.
So if you’re in a difficult season today…
Don’t lose hope.
God is still working.
Even when you can’t see it.
Even when you can’t feel it.
Even when nothing seems to be changing.
Your story isn’t over.
One day, you’ll look back and realize that God was protecting you, guiding you, strengthening you, and fighting for you the whole time.
And with a grateful heart, you’ll say,
“Looking back, I realize God was fighting for me all along. Hindi Mo lang ako nilaban, pinanalo Mo rin, Lord.”
“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Romans 8:37 (NKJV)
