This stems from our conviction that some churches nowadays have fallen into the trap of promoting their respective church work rather than Kingdom work, which
has led to churches viewing one another as “competition” thus resulting in invisible walls of indifference, hatred, and bitterness. The effect: a Divided Bride of Christ. We believe this is not what our Lord intended when Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:10 when he said:
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there may be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
It is in this regard that a small group of nameless servants from different churches & denominations have decided to start a movement called THE BIG TENT PHILIPPINES which simply aims to come back to the heart of worship; and with one voice worship our Lord Jesus Christ! This is our common ground: The CROSS! It is not the intention of The Big Tent Philippines to start a new church or community, but rather unify the Body of Christ, for we are the CHURCH. It is also our desire to provide an avenue where the Body of Christ can worship Jesus face to face, without walls, without barriers, without divisions, to just soak in the fire and passion of basking in Jesus’ presence. It is our prayer that they bring that fire and passion back to where God has called them to be planted (in their own church) and start their own revivals. We want to invite you to join us in this movement of worship and unity and allow the Lord to change us and fill us as we are in one accord just like in Acts 2! No Walls, No Boundaries, Just JESUS
