You want to be consistent in the ministry, but you have many reasons why you cannot
You want to serve faithfully, but school or work keeps pulling you in so many directions. Deadlines, projects, requirements, and expectations just keep piling up.
You feel tired, overwhelmed, and sometimes you honestly don’t have the energy to show up in the ministry.
You want to grow spiritually, but the noise around you feels louder than your desire to follow God. School stress, busy schedules, and constant pressure make it hard to stay consistent. And the truth is, every Christian goes through this, even the ones who look strong and steady in their faith.
Why does it happen? Because the moment you decide to take God seriously, the enemy works harder to keep you distracted. He does not always use obvious sins. Sometimes he simply uses busyness and pressure to pull your attention away.
But here is the truth:
The enemy can try to distract you, but you still make the choices.
Consistency is not about having a perfect and peaceful life. It is about choosing small acts of obedience even on the days when you feel busy or drained.
Praying even when you only have a few minutes.
Reading the Word even when your schedule feels full.
Showing up even when it is tiring or inconvenient.
These simple choices build a strong and steady walk with God over time.
So ask yourself today:
What excuse do I need to surrender?
And what small step of obedience can I take right now, even with school or work in the way?
Because consistency does not begin with huge moments of faith.
It begins with one honest yes.
To God be the Glory! ✨
