In the middle of the noise, the pressure, and the many voices pulling us in different directions, God invites us to be still long enough to remember where our strength truly comes from.

The Ascension can feel bittersweet at first - Jesus returning to the Father, the disciples watching Him leave, and the ache that comes with separation.

But Father Ed Fernandez reminded us that Christ’s Ascension was never abandonment. It was fulfillment. Through His return to the Father, the Holy Spirit could now dwell not only in one place, but within all of us.

Maybe that is why some seasons of growth involve letting go. Some endings hurt because they ask us to release old fears, attachments, comforts, or versions of ourselves we have outgrown. Yet even in the ache of change, God remains near.

The same Lord who ascended into heaven continues to guide, strengthen, and remain with us through the Holy Spirit.

This past Sunday reminded us that following Jesus was never meant to be a journey we carry alone.

Faith may be personal, but God designed it to grow within a loving community - one that welcomes people as they are, walks with them through their brokenness, and points them back to Christ again and again.

May we continue creating small spaces where people can encounter Jesus - in our families, friendships, classrooms, workplaces, and ordinary everyday moments.
