Verse of the Day 🙏

"Then He said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."
—Luke 9:23 NIV

This verse reminds us that following Jesus is not just about believing in Him, but choosing Him every day. Jesus tells us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him, and sometimes that means letting go of what we want, choosing what honors Him, and trusting Him even when the path is difficult. It’s a daily decision to put Jesus first and let Him lead the way.

Lord, Thank You for the cross and for the sacrifice You made for me. Help me each day to deny myself, let go of the things that pull me away from You, and choose to follow You even when it is difficult. Give me the strength to carry my cross faithfully and keep my eyes on You. In everything I do, help me remember that following You is the best thing that I can do in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Verse of the Day 🙏

"Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically."
—Romans 12:10-11 NLT

This verse reminds us to love people sincerely, treat them with honor, and serve the Lord wholeheartedly. There will be times when we get tired or simply don’t feel like doing what we’re called to do. But this verse encourages us not to lose heart. Whatever we’re doing for God, let’s keep showing up, keep serving, and keep giving our best, knowing that even the simple things we do can be an expression of our love for Him.

Lord, thank You for the opportunities You give us to serve You, even in the simple things. Help us to love people genuinely and to put others before ourselves. When we feel tired or discouraged, give us the strength to keep going and to continue serving You with all our hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen.

This verse reminds us that Jesus is the greatest example of what genuine passion for God looks like. His passion was not only seen in what He felt, but in how He willingly served and gave Himself for others. If even Jesus who is Lord, chose to serve, then our passion for God should also lead us to serve with a humble and willing heart. Genuine passion is not about being noticed or recognized, but it's about following Jesus and serving because we love Him.

Lord, thank You for showing me what genuine passion looks like through the life of Jesus. You did not come to be served, but to serve, and You willingly gave Yourself for others. Teach me to follow Your example, teach me how to serve with a sincere heart that reflects my love for You. Help me to have a passion that is not only seen in words, but also in the way I treat people around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Verse of the Day 🙏

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
— John 13:34 NIV

This verse reminds us that Jesus calls us to love others the way He loves us. True love is not only shown through words, but also through our actions, patience, forgiveness, kindness, and understanding. Even when it is difficult, we are called to choose love because our love can become a reflection of Christ to the people around us.

Lord, thank You for showing me what true love looks like. Help me to love others with a heart that reflects Your grace, patience, and kindness. Teach me to forgive, understand, and show love even when it is difficult. May the way I treat others point them closer to You and remind them of Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

This verse reminds us that as followers of Christ, our lives should reflect His love and goodness. We are called to let our light shine not to receive praise for ourselves, but so that others may see God through the way we live, speak, and treat people. Even through simple acts of kindness, love, and faithfulness, our lives can point others closer to Jesus.

Lord, thank You for calling me to be a light in this world. Help me to live in a way that reflects Your love, goodness, and truth. May my words, actions, and choices bring glory to You and encourage others to know You more. Let my life shine brightly for Jesus wherever You place me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
