๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ: COPA Chairman Jun Penaranda and Trustee Ivi Glinoga visited Bishop Ruben C. Labajo of the Diocese of Prosperidad in Bayugan Agusan del Sur, as part of COPAโ€™s efforts to deepen relationships with mission partner dioceses. The Diocese of Prosperidad is one of the countryโ€™s newest dioceses and covers the province of Agusan del Sur, considered a โ€œmissionary frontierโ€ with one-third of its population being indigenous peoples. COPA has six mission partners in the diocese: the St. Aloysius and Our Lady of Guadalupe parishes, the San Juan Mission Station, the Diocesan Commissions on Youth and Social Action and the Sacred Heart School for Lumads.

COPA Chairman Jun Penaranda and Trustees Benny Araw and Ivi Glinoga visited COPA's partner dioceses of Butuan and Prosperidad February 4 - 7. At the Diocese of Butuan, they were received by Butuan Bishop Cosme "Meng" Almedilla. The diocese covers the entire province of Agusan del Norte. The COPA team also visited the sites of its five mission partners, its adopted parishes, in the diocese as well as some diocesan sites such as Balay Silonganan (children's home) and Por Cristo (Special Apostolate for the Elderly Abandoned.) These visits are part of COPA's Adopt-a-Parish Program and are intended to deepen relationships with mission partners.

St. James COPA President Mar Aguas, Trustee Ging Lim and the COPA Staff attended the installation of His Excellency, the Most Reverend Samuel Agcaracar as the fifth bishop of the Diocese of San Jose de Nueva Ecija on February 6, 2026. The installing prelate was His Excellency, the Most Reverend Charles John Brown, Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines. The Diocese of Nueva Ecija is one of COPAโ€™s partner dioceses in its Adopt-A-Parish program.

๐‡๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌ: Mr. Jun Peรฑaranda (Chairman) and Atty. Wildredo Nuesa (Corporate Secretary) attended the installation of Archbishop William Antonio in Vigan on January 13, 2026.

The installation was graced by three Cardinals: Cardinal Luis Antonio โ€œChitoโ€ Tagle, who delivered the homily; Cardinal Jose Advincula of Manila; and Cardinal Emeritus Orlando Quevedo, a former Archbishop of Nueva Segovia. The celebration was also attended by many bishops, including Archbishop Gilbert Garcera, CBCP President, and several of our Mission Partner bishops.
