• Celebration combats forgetfulness.
- through the power of celebration nao-overcome natin yung demands of daily life.
- we are created to celebrate

• Celebration deepens community.
- pinalalalim nito ang spiritual community
- because of the presence of God, because of the joy of the holy spirit
- shineshare yung joy, it unified us in one body
- to breakdown barriers
- have a welcoming spirit like the father in the story of the prodigal son
(Luke 15:7)
- we are one spirit, one body, one community

"Ang celebration ay hindi lang para sa mga may narating na, ito ay para sa bawat isa dahil tayo ay may puwang sa kaharian ng Diyos."

Ang tagumpay na ito ay bunga ng inyong pananampalataya, pagsisikap, at dedikasyon. Sa pagsisimula mo ng panibagong yugto ng inyong buhay, iwiniwika namin sa inyo ang mga salita ng Diyos mula sa Awit 37:5: “Ang iyong sarili sa Kanya italaga, tutulungang ganap kapag ika’y nagtiwala.”

SUNDAY MESSAGE RECAP

TITLE: The gift of resting in God's presence
TEXT: Matthew 11:28-30

"Ang presensya Niya ay hindi lugar para mapagod ka, kundi lugar para makapagpahinga ka."

Three things to remember:

1. Ang ating pagsamba ay isang uri ng pagpapahinga. (Awit 46:10)
• Hayaan natin na ang ating Diyos ang magkontrol sa mga bagay na hindi natin kayang kontrolin.
• Nagsisimula ang totoong pahinga kapag hinayaan natin ang Diyos na maging Diyos sa buhay natin.

2. Ang presensya ng Diyos ang nagre-recharge ng ating lakas. (Isaiah 40:31)
• Ang presensya ng Diyos ang magsisilbing charger natin.
• Iba yung pahinga ng wala tayong ginagawa sa pahinga na kayang ibigay ni Lord sa buhay natin.

3. Ito ang oras upang makasama natin ang ating makalangit na Ama.(Luke 10:40-42)
• Ayaw ni Lord na maging abala tayo sa ibang mga bagay, nais din ni Lord na makasama natin Siya.
• Ang araw ng pagsamba ay araw ng pamamahinga sa presensya ng Diyos at ito ay regalo mula sa Panginoon.
• Awit 23:2-3

Fellowship reminds us that the church isn't just a building; it's a family. And in a family, we show up, we help out, and we care deeply for one another.

The Holy Spirit saving me
from my anger issues…

May mga tao talagang
sinusubukan ang patience mo.

Yung gusto mo nang sumagot…
pero may bumubulong sa puso mo:

“Wag.”

Yung ready ka nang magalit…
pero pinipigilan ka ni Lord.

At minsan,
yan ang tunay na spiritual battle. 😭

Hindi lahat ng laban
dinadaan sa sigaw.

Sa Bible,
ang tunay na maturity
hindi lang nakikita sa worship…

nakikita rin
sa self-control.

Proverbs 16:32
“Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city.”

“Self-control” sa Greek is
“Egkrateia”
meaning mastery over oneself.

Hindi ibig sabihin
wala ka nang nararamdamang galit.

Ibig sabihin...
Hindi galit ang may control sayo.

Minsan akala natin
strong tayo
kapag mabilis sumagot.

Pero minsan,
mas malaking strength
yung marunong magpigil.

Hindi lahat ng disrespect
kailangang patulan.

Hindi lahat ng issue
kailangang palakihin.

At hindi lahat ng “trying you”
deserve ng reaction mo. 😭

Galatians 5:22–23
“The fruit of the Spirit is…
love, joy, peace, patience… self-control.”

Next time na may mag-trigger sayo…

pause muna.

Pray muna.

Breathe muna.

Baka yung Holy Spirit na
ang pumipigil sayo
na gumawa ng bagay
na pagsisisihan mo later. 😭

Hindi ka weak
kapag pinili mong kumalma.

Minsan,
yan ang proof
na gumagalaw ang Diyos sayo.
