In loving and prayerful remembrance of Avelina Gomez San Jose, a devoted soul whose life bore witness to God’s abiding love, grace, and mercy. She walked in faith, lived with compassion, and touched the lives of many through her kindness and quiet strength.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Iglesia Filipina Independiente (Aglipay) Church on April 21, 2026, at 10:00 AM, after which she will be laid to rest at Himlayang Aglipayano.
As we commend her soul to the Lord, we take comfort in His promise: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” — John 11:25
Though we grieve her passing, we trust in God’s infinite mercy and in the hope of eternal life. May the Lord embrace her in His heavenly kingdom, where there is no more sorrow, no more pain, but only everlasting peace and joy in His presence.
Let us continue to pray for her soul, that she may rest in peace, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May the love she shared remain in our hearts, guiding and strengthening us until we meet again in God’s eternal home.
