Today, May 30, 2026, aspiring and active members of the Lector Ministry gathered at St. Joseph the Worker Parish โ€“ Montevista for the Basic Orientation Seminar. The seminar provided participants with foundational formation on the ministry of proclaiming the Word of God, emphasizing the responsibilities, spirituality, and proper disposition required of those called to serve as lectors.

Through this formation activity, participants were given the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the sacred role entrusted to them in the liturgy and to strengthen their commitment to serving the Church with reverence, competence, and faith.

May this orientation inspire all members of the ministry to continually grow in their love for Sacred Scripture and in their dedication to proclaiming God's Word with clarity, conviction, and devotion.
