On this Pentecost Sunday, we remember the moment Jesus breathed upon His disciples and said, โ€œReceive the Holy Spirit.โ€ The same people once trapped in fear were transformed into courageous witnessesโ€”not by their own strength, but by the power of God moving within them. Though they came from different tongues and backgrounds, the Holy Spirit united them into one Church, reminding us that true unity is found not in sameness, but in one faith centered on Christ.

Even today, we carry fears, doubts, and countless โ€œwhat ifs,โ€ yet the Holy Spirit continues to call us toward courage, wisdom, understanding, and devotion. When love becomes the language of our hearts, we stop destroying one another and begin building each other with grace and compassion. May we receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit with open hearts, and become people who choose unity, faith, and love in a world longing for Godโ€™s presence.

โ€ŽOn Ascension Sunday, Rev. Fr. Venjie Pepe reminded the faithful that the Ascension of the Lord is not a moment of separation, but a fulfillment of Christโ€™s mission on earth. As Jesus ascended into heaven, He did not leave His people behind; instead, He entrusted them with a mission โ€” to continue His work and to be witnesses of His love. The Ascension invites us to lift our gaze toward heaven while remaining faithful in our responsibilities here on earth.

โ€ŽFr. Venjie reflected that Christโ€™s physical departure made way for a deeper and more powerful presence through the Holy Spirit. Though unseen, the Lord remains with us โ€” guiding, strengthening, and sustaining us in our daily lives. Like the disciples, we are called not to stand still, but to move forward in faith, carrying His message to others with courage and trust.

โ€ŽMay we, too, embrace the call of the Ascension with hopeful hearts. Let us rise above our doubts and fears, and live as true witnesses of Christ in the world. Ngayong araw, ipinagdiriwang natin ang Dakilang Kapistahan ng Pag-akyat ng Panginoon sa Langit โ€” ang sandali kung kailan si Hesukristo ay umakyat sa langit matapos ang Kaniyang muling pagkabuhay. Hindi ito simpleng โ€œpamamaalam,โ€ kundi tanda ng tagumpay ni Kristo laban sa kasalanan at kamatayan, at ng Kaniyang pagbalik sa piling ng Ama.

Bago Siya umakyat sa langit, iniwan ni Hesus sa Kaniyang mga alagad ang isang misyon: ipalaganap ang Mabuting Balita sa buong mundo. Kaya ang kapistahang ito ay paalala na bilang mga Kristiyano, tayo rin ay tinatawag na maging saksi ng Kaniyang pag-ibig, awa, at katotohanan sa ating pang-araw-araw na buhay.

Ang Pag-akyat ng Panginoon ay nagbibigay rin sa atin ng pag-asa. Sapagkat kung saan naroroon si Kristo, doon din tayo inaanyayahang makarating balang araw. Sa gitna ng hirap at pagsubok, pinapaalalahanan tayo ng kapistahang ito na ang langit ang ating tunay na hantungan.

In every uncertainty, Mama Mary reminds us to return to prayer, repentance, and trust in God. Through her apparition at Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, she called the world not to fear, but to believe that grace still works even in the midst of suffering and chaos.

Today, may we learn to pray the Rosary not only with our lips, but with hearts willing to listen and surrender. Like the three little shepherd children, may we have the courage to say โ€œyesโ€ to God even when the road is difficult and uncertain.
