WORSHIP MOTIVATED BY LOVE (Sunday Worship Service/ August 23,2026)

TO UNDERSTAND HOW OUR WORSHIP SHOULD BE MOTIVATED BY LOVE, LET US LOOK AT THREE TRUTHS REVEALED IN 1 CORINTHIANS 13

1. THE IMPORTANCE OF LOVE IN EVERYTHING WE DO (v. 1-3)

Ang kahalagan ng pagibig sa lahat ng ating ginagawa

a. Maaaring mahusay ang ating ginagawa ngunit mali ang motibo.
b. Ang pag-ibig ang nagbibigay ng tamang halaga sa ating paglilingkod.

1 Corinthians 16:14

2. THE CHARACTER OF LOVE THAT IS REVEALED (v.4-7)
- Ang katangian

a. Ang pag-ibig ay mapagpahinuhod.
b. Ang pag-ibig ay magandang-loob.
c. Ang pag-ibig ay hindi naiingit.
d. Ang pag-ibig ay hindi nagyayabang
e. Ang pag-ibig ay hindi nagagalit at hindi nag-lisip ng masama

3. THE GREATNESS OF LOVE THAT SURPASSES ALL (v. 8 & 13)
- Ang maraming bagay ay pansamantala.
- Ang kadakilaan

a. Ang pag-ibig ang tunay na puso ng pagsamba.
b. Ang pag-ibig ay higit sa ating mga kakayahan.

CONCLUSION:
Therefore, let us not simply be worshipers who do things for God. Let us be worshipers who do things for God because we love God.

No one has all the gifts, but everyone has at least one...

- All gifts come from the same Spirit, for the same purpose.....

- Gifts are not for self-promotion. but for building up the Body of Christ.

True worship is not just what happens on Sunday Morning; it's how we serve God and others every day.

Using your gift is an offering of worship
wether teaching, encouraging, giving, leading, or showing mercy.

Three Major Truth about Worship through Serving:

1. It's Heart-Driven
- God looks at the heart behind our actions, not just the sound of our voices
2. It's People Focus

- Worship doesn't end with the last song; it continues in our homes, workplace, community

2. Our Gift is Needed in the Body of Christ
Therefore, let is always remember that.....
1. Our gift is intentional

- No one else can fulfill your role exactly the way you can.....
3. Our gift is essential
- Without it, the Body of Christ is incomplete

3. Christ is Glorified When We Serve Together
When we serve alone, we can do something

1. Unity Reflects Christs' Heart
- John 17:9-11
2. Diversity of Gifts, One Purpose.
- Like parts of the body, each member has a role.
3. Shared Service Multiplies Impact
- One person can feed a few, but together we can feed a community.
