PENTECOST SUNDAY

Today, the Church joyfully celebrates Pentecost Sunday, the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the Blessed Virgin Mary. Fifty days after Easter, the Holy Spirit descended like tongues of fire, filling them with courage, wisdom, and zeal to proclaim the Good News to all nations.

Pentecost marks the birth of the Church and the fulfillment of Christโ€™s promise to send the Advocate who would guide His people in truth and strengthen them in faith. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles were transformed from fear into fearless witnesses of Godโ€™s love and salvation.

As we celebrate this sacred day, may the Holy Spirit renew our hearts, deepen our faith, and set us ablaze with love for God and His people. May we become instruments of peace, unity, and hope in the world.

โ€œCome, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.โ€

Come Holy Spirit!

Mula pa sa Binyag, ipinangako nating itakwil ang masama at sumampalataya sa Diyosโ€”mga pangako na ngayon ay ating pinagtitibay sa Kumpil. Tulad ng tatak sa hayop, tayo ay may tatak na ng Banal na Espiritu na nagsasabing tayo ay pag-aari na ng Diyos. Siya ay kumakatok sa ating mga puso; tungkulin nating buksan Siya nang buong puso.

Gaya ng mga apostol na mula sa takot ay naging matapang matapos tanggapin ang Banal na Espiritu, binibigyan din tayo ng lakas at tapang upang mamuhay ayon sa kanyang kalooban. Kapag matibay ang ating pananampalataya, alam nating walang imposible sa Diyos na lumikha ng lahat.

SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

With hearts full of faith and gratitude, our candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation during the celebration of the Holy Mass yesterday, May 19, 2026.

The Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Roberto C. Mallari, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Tarlac, with Rev. Fr. Alvin S. Ramos, our Parish Priest, and Rev. Fr. Nico C. De Leon, JCL, as co-celebrants.

May the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to guide and strengthen our newly confirmed as they grow deeper in their faith and commitment to Christ and His Church.

SOLEMNITY OF THE ASCENSION OF THE LORD

The Church joyfully celebrates the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord.
Forty days after His Resurrection, Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven in the presence of His disciples, taking His place at the right hand of the Father. The Ascension is not the end of Christโ€™s presence among us, but the fulfillment of His earthly mission and the beginning of the Churchโ€™s mission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations.

As the Lord returns in glory to the Father, He entrusts His people with the mission to become witnesses of His love, truth, and salvation. The Ascension reminds us that our true home is in Heaven and strengthens our hope in Godโ€™s promise of eternal life.

May the Ascended Lord guide us in faith, renew us in hope, and lead us ever closer to Him.

Malugod naming inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Sakramento ng Kumpil ngayong ika-19 ng Mayo, alas-3:00 ng hapon, sa ating parokya. Ang banal na pagdiriwang ay pangungunahan ni Lubhang Kagalang-galang Roberto C. Mallari, D.D., Obispo ng Diyosesis ng Tarlac.

Ang Sakramento ng Kumpil ay pagpapatibay ng biyayang tinanggap sa Binyag, kung saan tinatanggap ng mananampalataya ang ganap na kaloob ng Espiritu Santo upang higit na mapatatag ang pananampalataya at pamumuhay Kristiyano.
