Session 2: Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ is not a comfort we check in on when things fall apart. He's not a backup plan or moral suggestion. He's the one who knows you completely (your hopes, fears and deepest wounds) and He loves you anyway. That's who He is.

When you're married, you learn this in a new way. You can't hide from another person. You learn what it means to be truly seen, truly known and truly loved. And if Christ is at the center of your marriage, you learn it from Him first.

He shows you what love actually costs. Not romance or feelings, real love. The kind that chooses the other person's good even when it's hard. The kind that forgives. The kind that stays. That's Christ.
That's what He did on the cross and that's what He's asking you to do for each other every day.

Keep going. Keep putting Him first. Keep loving like He loved.
And keep telling people that Jesus Christ is the reason your marriage works.

He's the reason any of us work.

Next session, we're going deep into what it means to repent and believe. Not as a one time moment, but as a rhythm of your Christian life.

The Christian Life Program Season 2 started on September 06, 2026.

Unit 1 of Chapter B is the service team for this season of Christian Life Program, led by our Brother Mel Tavara and Sister Linda Tavara.

Session 1: God's Love- a reminder of how profound the Lord's love for us.

God's love is the foundation of every strong marriage. It is unconditional, faithful, and always forgiving. When couples root their relationship in God's love, they mirror His covenantal love-a love that endures every challenge and grows stronger over time.

Let this love guide us to forgive one another, support each other and grow closer not only as spouses but as reflections of God's love for the world.

We're truly excited for our next session, where we will continue growing together in this love and deepen the bonds that unite each couple.

Our theme, “Seeing the Cross Anew,” invites us to look once again at the Cross—not simply as a symbol of suffering, but as the greatest revelation of God’s love, the source of our hope and the heart of our mission.

The Lord has chosen you! He has chosen to open your eyes so that you will begin to see God’s plan for you. His plan is to bring you to his heavenly kingdom.

Let us all rejoice and be glad. Let us praise and thank the Lord for calling us, for opening our eyes, and for starting the process of our transformation in Christ.

Thank you Bro. Angel Billones for sharing such a powerful and timely message on Transformation in Christ as a Couples for Christ member. You reminded us that true transformation isn't about striving harder in our own strength; it is about surrendering to God's grace and allowing Him to renew us as a follower of Christ.
