"𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀."

At present, being safe and secure is something deeply important. With everything happening in our lives—both internally and externally—people long for safety and security.

Today, the Word of God in Psalms 91:1–16 reminds us that our safety and security in life lie in our choices.

What are these choices we have to make?

1. We have to choose heartfelt worship to the Lord.
- Just like David, he valued God deeply through his worship.
- It’s not just about singing songs of praise and worship, but ensuring that in all we do, God is pleased and delighted.

2. We must choose to take refuge in the Lord, not in mere people.
- Do not put your trust in people. Do not put your trust in your situation. Trust only in God.
- Place your trust in the One who never fails, the One who never changes.

3. We have to grow and increase our love for God.
- Our safety and security depend on the depth of our passion for the Lord.
- Like David, he was never exempt from challenges—he faced them as well—but what made him different was his unconditional love for God.
- His love was never based on God’s blessings; rather, his love for Him was rooted in who he acknowledged God to be.

4. We must call upon the Lord.
- In verse 15, we see David calling for God’s help.
- Do not be afraid to ask for the Lord’s help. Draw near and connect to Him.
- Talk to the Lord. Spend quality time with Him.

Ekklesians, being safe and secure is truly something we all desire in our walk with Christ—but it also requires initiative on our part.

𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥!

𝗔𝘆𝗮𝘄 𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗸 𝘀𝗮 𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹!

Today we looked at two anointed men: Saul and David. Both were chosen by God. Yet their lives moved in opposite directions—one resisted God; the other ran after God’s own heart.

As we continue our walk with the Lord, let’s remember: we too are chosen and anointed. But calling is only the beginning. Along the way come battles, delays, pressures, and the refining test—not simply of faith, but of obedience rooted in love. That’s where Saul and David parted paths.

Why was Saul rejected while David found favor?

1. Saul disobeyed; David, though imperfect, kept returning to obedience.
2. Saul trusted his own judgment; David inquired of the Lord again and again.
3. Saul clung to his own way; David yielded to God’s will.
4. Saul feared people and chased approval; David sought to please God above all.

Both sinned—but their responses mattered. Saul justified himself and hardened his heart. David humbled himself, confessed, and sought mercy—knowing life could not move forward without God’s presence.

And then there’s Goliath. David was already anointed king, yet the crown didn’t arrive overnight. God trained him in hidden places—fields, lions, bears—before the giant fell. With a sling, a stone, and unshakable trust in God, David stepped up, and all Israel learned his name.

So don’t fear the Goliaths in your path. Giants are often God’s classroom for your next level.

You don’t need to have it all figured out—just bring what’s in your hand, obey what God has spoken, and take the step in front of you. Stop doubting; start praying, believing, and conquering.

𝗘𝗸𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁. 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀. 𝗚𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹!

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸!

In Matthew 6:9–13, Jesus Christ taught His disciples how to pray, for His disciples knew that prayer is powerful.

So, what is prayer all about?

Here are seven facts about prayer:

1. Prayer is an act of RELATING TO GOD.
📖 Matthew 6:9 – “Our Father”
- Prayer is not just about including other people; ultimately, it’s about you and Jesus Christ calling God your Father—because He is Jesus’ Father.

2. Prayer is an act of GRATITUDE AND HONORING GOD.
📖 Matthew 6:9 – “Hallowed be Your Name”
- We honor and thank God because of the saving power of His Name.

3. Prayer is an act of HUMILITY, allowing HIS WILL to be done in our lives.
📖 Matthew 6:10 – “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
- It takes humility to set aside our will and allow God’s will to prevail.
- Prayerlessness is a sign of pride; being prayerful reflects humility.

4. Prayer is an act of DAILY DEPENDENCE.
📖 Matthew 6:11 – “Give us this day our daily bread.”
- Pray daily—in season and out of season.

5. Prayer is an act of SURRENDER.
📖 Matthew 6:12 – “Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us.”
- Offenses are hard to deal with, but in prayer, we can surrender them to the Lord.
- God will turn things around. Always give room for God to work in every situation—just surrender.

6. Prayer is an act of WAR.
📖 Matthew 6:13 – “Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one.”
- When we pray, the enemy trembles and panics.
- Prayer sends a clear message to the enemy: we are serious about our walk with God. That’s why the enemy tries to stop us—because prayer works!

7. Prayer is an act of DECLARING VICTORY.
📖 Matthew 6:13 – “For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory.”
- Dili ta kahatag og paghimaya sa Ginoo kung pilde ta.
- We cannot glorify God if we live in defeat.
- When we pray, we remind the enemy that the victory was already won 2,000 years ago!
- We are victorious—2,000 years ago!

𝗕𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

In today’s time, many shifts in culture and perspective have distorted how people see God. These changes have led to new norms and standards that drift away from God's original purpose for humanity.

That’s why this generation needs impactful spiritual leaders—individuals who are ready to live out Jesus’ legacy in their everyday lives.

So, how can we become an impactful generation?

1. Understand the season God has brought us into.
- We must discern the season we’re in, as it helps guide our actions and expectations.
- This is a season of fulfilling God’s purpose. If you’re already walking in it, maximize it—give God your all.
- Abundance isn’t just shown through what we steward—it’s seen in how effectively we live out our God-given purpose.

2. Serve God alone.
- We are called to love and serve God—Him alone.
- Don’t allow anything or anyone to compete for the place that belongs to God. He is a jealous God who desires us more than we often desire Him.
- Always choose to protect your calling.

3. Work hard.
- Be determined and passionate in advancing God’s Kingdom.
- Take initiative—lead your life toward Him.
- Let us not be timid or passive. Act now.

Ekklesians, a great harvest is waiting for us.
