One of the hardest realities in the Christian life is realizing that we cannot force anyone to remain faithful to Christ. We can pray for them, encourage them, teach them, and love them, but the decision to follow Jesus is a personal choice that each person must make.

Even Jesus Himself saw people walk away from Him. Yet He never forced anyone to stay. Love that is compelled is not genuine love; true discipleship comes from a willing heart surrendered to God.

Our responsibility is not to control others but to remain faithful, continue praying, and be a living testimony of God's grace. While some may leave for a season, God is still able to reach them wherever they are. Never stop believing that His mercy can bring wandering souls back home.

"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God." โ€” Romans 14:12

Each person will answer to God for their own choices. Our task is to faithfully point them to Christ and trust God with the results.

On your 27th birthday, we celebrate not only your life but the light you bring into the ministry and the home. Your devotion, kindness, and steadfast faith reflect the beauty of a heart anchored in Christ.

As Proverbs 31:25 declares:

โ€œShe is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.โ€

May this verse be your banner today and always, a reminder that your worth is far beyond rubies, and your influence shines in every soul you touch.

Happy Birthday, and may the Lord continue to bless you with wisdom, joy, and favor as you walk faithfully beside His servant and shine as a pillar of love in His vineyard.

Sometimes, what makes us dry in the ministry is not the lack of talent, but the lack of time spent with God. We become so busy serving that we slowly forget the One we are serving. Ministry can turn into routine โ€” singing without worship, preaching without prayer, teaching without burden, and serving without joy. We smile in front of people while secretly carrying exhaustion inside.

Dryness also comes when wounds are ignored. Criticism, disappointments, betrayal, unanswered prayers, and feeling unappreciated can quietly drain the heart. There are moments when we continue ministering physically, but spiritually we are already tired. We pour and pour into others until we realize we no longer have anything left within ourselves.

Sometimes pride makes us dry too. When we rely more on our abilities than on Godโ€™s presence, we become empty without noticing it. Ministry was never meant to be sustained by human strength alone. A branch cannot live if it disconnects from the vine.

But dryness is not the end. God allows dry seasons not to destroy us, but to draw us back to Him. A dry heart can still cry out. A tired servant can still be restored. The answer is not to abandon the ministry, but to return to the secret place โ€” back to prayer, back to His Word, back to intimacy with Him. Because before God called us to work for Him, He first called us to walk with Him.

COME TO JESUS 05|17|26
Key verse 11:28
Ptr. RenierMahinay

โ€œCome to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.โ€

This invitation is not only for the faithfulโ€”it is also for those who have drifted away. Backsliding often begins with exhaustion, disappointment, or slowly growing distant from God. But even in that state, Jesus still calls.

If you feel far, tired, or unworthy, this verse reminds you that God is not closing the door. He is calling you backโ€”not with condemnation, but with rest. You donโ€™t have to fix everything first before coming to Him. Just come as you are.

True rest is found not in running away from God, but in returning to Him.

Many people today become weak not because God has abandoned them, but because they have surrendered more to the world than to Jesus. The world offers temporary comfort, easy escape, and empty validation, yet it cannot heal a weary soul. When trials come, some run to distractions, opinions, pleasures, pride, or even sin instead of running to Christ. The problem is not that Jesus is far away โ€” the problem is that many have stopped coming to Him.

Jesus never promised a life without storms, but He promised His presence in the middle of them. The world says, โ€œGive up.โ€ Jesus says, โ€œCome unto Me.โ€ The world says, โ€œFollow your feelings.โ€ Jesus says, โ€œFollow Me.โ€ The world weakens the spirit, but Jesus restores it.

Sometimes people surrender to fear more than faith, to compromise more than conviction, and to their flesh more than the Spirit. Yet the invitation of Christ remains open. No matter how broken, tired, or lost a person becomes, Jesus is still calling: โ€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.โ€

True strength is not found in pretending to be strong before people; it is found in kneeling before Jesus. The answer to weakness is not running farther into the world, but drawing nearer to God. When we surrender fully to Christ, He gives peace that the world cannot give, strength that circumstances cannot destroy, and hope that darkness cannot overcome.

YOU CAN WALK ON THE WATER
Matthew 14:23-32
Sis Meriel Mahinay

when Jesus calls you, He enables you.

Peter did something impossible, not because the sea became calm, but because his eyes were fixed on Jesus. As long as his focus stayed on Christ, he walked above what should have drowned him. But when he looked at the wind and waves, fear took over, and he began to sink.

Many times in life, we are like Peter. God calls us out of comfort zones, into faith, obedience, forgiveness, ministry, or new steps of trust. The โ€œboatโ€ represents our comfort and security, while the โ€œwaterโ€ represents the impossible situations God is asking us to step into.

THE HIDDEN HAND OF GOD | 5/10/26
Key verse: Esther 2:5-17
Ptr. Renier Mahinay

There are moments in life when we feel like Esther, placed in situations we did not choose, surrounded by uncertainty, yet unknowingly being prepared for a divine assignment. And there are times we are like Mordecai, faithfully doing what is right, unaware that our obedience is part of a larger plan.

The hidden hand of God assures us that nothing is wasted: not your past, not your waiting season, not even your ordinary days. God is always working behind the scenes.
