The Ministry of Altar Servers of St. Matthew Catholic Parish-Aloran mourns the passing of Brother Matthew John Molina 🕊to the bereaved family, we extend our heartfelt condolences 🙏

OBITUARY | The Knights of the Altar – Holy Rosary Parish, Oroquieta City mourns the passing of Brother Matthew John Molina, our former vice-president in the ministry and is currently serving as an active member of the Council of Grand Knights in the parish.

Matthew is to be fondly remembered as a sweet and loving kuya to his younger brothers, yet stern to his principles and true to his vision in rectifying the organization through decorum. We are immensely grateful for the time that brother Matthew have spent with us, and are proud for what he has become, from a diligent Page-server to being a true leader that he is today.

May you join us in prayer as we accompany him in his first moments with Christ at the house of the Father.

Eternal rest grant unto Matthew, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

This candle has traditionally been referred to as "Prophet’s Candle" reminding us that Jesus is coming. At the heart of the first week of Advent lies the theological virtue of HOPE. This virtue, diligently exercised by prophets and the entire Jewish community over 4,000 years, encapsulates the patient anticipation for the awaited Savior. It remains a virtue that every Christian must embody throughout their lifetime, eloquently articulated in the Act of Hope: "I anticipate securing forgiveness for my sins, the assistance of Your grace, and the gift of eternal life."
