Scripture: Matthew 1:18โ19
"This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly."
REFLECTION: Joseph had envisioned a simple, faithful, and hidden life. Yet Godโs plan entered unexpectedly, calling him to a mission far greater than he could have imagined. What seemed like an interruption became a sacred invitation to deeper trust and generous love.
PRAYER: Lord God, when You interrupted the plans of St. Joseph, he listened, trusted, and rose with courage. When You interrupt our plans and unsettle our certainties, teach us to welcome Your will with the same faith.
Nourish us with the power of your Word and the Eucharist, so that we may recognize Your voice in the unexpected and read the signs of our times in Your light. Give us hearts ready to accompany the young with patience and hope, especially the poorest and most vulnerable. May every interruption become an invitation, every uncertainty a path of trust, and our lives, like Josephโs, a quiet and faithful โyesโ to Your saving plan. Amen.
