A joyful step forward in our journey of faith as the Parish Youth Day Cross and Icon (JCI) reached Tingkuro last April 25, 2026. With hearts united in silence and song, we offered a Taizé Prayer—lifting our hopes, doubts, and faith to God in a moment of deep reflection. Truly, the Cross and Icon continue to ignite the flame of faith among the youth, reminding us that even in stillness, God is present.

Another grace-filled milestone in our journey of faith 🙏✨

Last April 18, 2026, the Parish Youth Day Cross and Icon were joyfully visited in Manduang and Tubod as part of the JCI. Gathered as one youth community, we offered our Taizé Prayer—simple yet powerful, echoing peace, unity, and trust in God’s presence.

May this sacred journey continue to deepen our faith and inspire every young heart to follow Christ with courage and love.

Our youth from different parishes under the Vicariate of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Metro Cebu South District 2) are gathered today at the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Minglanilla for the Youth Catechist formation.

Let us offer a prayer for these young, beautiful souls as they deepen their understanding of our Catholic faith and grow in their mission to share Christ with others. May the Holy Spirit guide them as they learn, serve, and become instruments of God’s love.

As young ministers of Christ from San Roque Parish Youth Coordinating Council, we are sent to actively build bridges, to restore what is broken, and to bring light where there is misunderstanding, hatred, and indifference.

AS ONE, we stand with Pope Leo XIV, whose life and mission remind us that true leadership is rooted in dialogue, humility, and the sincere pursuit of unity. In a time where voices of division are strong, we are challenged to stand firm; not in anger, but in compassion; not in hostility, but in truth and charity.

Because we are His peace.
And we are sent by Him.

The Journey of the Parish Youth Day Cross and Icon begins this Saturday, April 11! ✨️

Experience a journey of faith, hope, and community with PYCC as we celebrate "Baklay ni Sangkay" — an inspiring event marking the journey of the Parish Youth Day Cross and Icon through the various chapels in our parish. As we enter the synodal journey for the preparations of our centennial jubilee as an archdiocese, we are reminded to take courage in strengthening the faith of the youth for a synodal church fully alive through us.

This event is not just a symbolic journey, but a call to action for our youth. Through our Speaker’s Bureau, we aim to equip and empower chapel youth officers with the knowledge and understanding of their duties and responsibilities. Together, we aim to build a strong foundation for leadership, fostering a vibrant and committed youth community.

Let us walk together, hand in hand, as we reflect on our shared mission to bring hope and light to others. As we journey with the Cross and Icon, may we be inspired to live out the message of hope, love, and service in every step we take.
