1st Night Wake Mass of our Montfortian Associate, +Sis. Divina Aliganga Alimento, AMM

Last night, May 23, 2026, the Cebu Montfortian Family gathered for the Eucharistic Celebration for Sis. Divina Alimento at the Montfort Mission House Chapel. It was presided over by Rev. Fr. Armel Collantes, SMM together with Rev. Fr. Santiago Casing,SMM and Fr. Benjie Notarte, SMM.
The community are beyond grateful for more than two decades Ate Divine served the comnunity as staff of the Montfort Missionaries but more to that she has been a family to us sharing her faith and devotion.

Later this afternoon, the body of Sis. Divina will be brought to their residence in Pangdan, City of Naga until her Internment on May 29, 2026.

We contibue to offer our prayers for her eternal repose.

Last night, May 23, 2026, the Cebu Montfortian Family gathered for the Eucharistic Celebration for Sis. Divina Aliganga Alimento, AMM, at the Montfort Mission House Chapel. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Armel Collantes, SMM, together with Rev. Fr. Santiago Casing, SMM, and Fr. Benjie Notarte, SMM.

The community is deeply grateful for the more than two decades that Ate Divine faithfully served as a staff member of the Montfort Missionaries. More than her service, she became a true family to the community through her unwavering faith, devotion, and generous presence.

Later this afternoon, the body of Sis. Divina will be brought to their residence in Pangdan, City of Naga, where she will remain until her interment on May 29, 2026.

As one Montfortian Family, we continue to offer our prayers for the eternal repose of her soul. May the Lord grant her everlasting peace and welcome her into His heavenly kingdom.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister in faith, †Divina “Ate Divine” Aliganga Alimento, AMM, who was called home to the Lord on May 22, 2026.

For more than two decades, Ate Divine faithfully and lovingly served as a dedicated staff member of the Montfort Cebu Mission House and as a committed member of the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts. She became a living witness of humble faith, joyful service, loyalty, and untiring dedication to our community.

Her life was a testament to steadfast devotion, kindness, and perseverance in faith. As we mourn her passing, we also give thanks to God for the gift of her life and for the inspiration she leaves behind. May we continue to emulate her deep love for Jesus through Mary and her unwavering commitment to prayer and service.

A Requiem Mass for the eternal repose of her soul will be offered today, May 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Montfort Mission House Chapel, Lower Calajoan, Minglanilla.

In the coming days, she will be brought to her residence in Humayan, Pangdan, City of Naga.

We humbly ask everyone to offer prayers, rosaries, and personal intentions for Ate Divine, as well as comfort and strength for her grieving family and loved ones.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister in faith, †𝗦𝗶𝘀. 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗮 “𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗼” 𝗔𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻, 𝗔𝗠𝗠, who was called home to the Lord on May 14, 2026.

Since becoming an associate of the Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts in 2019, Nanay Pilo became a living witness of humble faith, Marian devotion, and joyful service. Despite her age, she remained a devoted daily Mass attendee, faithfully offering her presence and prayers to the Lord. She also lovingly led her fellow elders in singing during the Holy Mass, a simple yet beautiful ministry that reflected her deep love for God and the Blessed Mother.

Her life was a testament to steadfast devotion, kindness, and perseverance in faith.
As we mourn her passing, we also give thanks for the gift of her life and the inspiration she leaves behind. May we continue to emulate her love for Jesus through Mary and her unwavering commitment to prayer and service.

Happy Feast Day, Blessed Marie Louise of Jesus...

May 7 | Today in Montfortian Calendar, we celebrate the Memorial of Blessed Marie-Louise of Jesus.

Born on May 7, 1684, in France, she met St. Louis-Marie de Montfort at a young age and became his close collaborator in the mission. In 1702, St. Louis-Marie founded the Daughters of Wisdom, a congregation dedicated to serving the poor, the sick, and children, of which she became the first member. After Montfort’s death, she faithfully continued the mission, guiding the community with humility, strength, and deep trust in God until her death on April 28, 1759.

A faithful servant of Christ, her life reflects quiet courage and total surrender to God’s will.

May her example lead us closer to Jesus through Mary. 🙏
