When you bring a friend to Jesus.

You’re not just inviting them to church... you’re leading them toward hope, healing, peace, and eternal life. One conversation, one invitation, one prayer can completely change someone’s future.

“Come, follow Me,” Jesus said…
- Matthew 4:19

“Let your light shine before others…”
- Matthew 5:16

Never underestimate what happens when you bring someone to Jesus.

What feels small to you could become life-changing for them.
Your invitation might be the reason they find peace again.
Your message might be the reason they don’t give up.
Because when people encounter Jesus, chains break, hearts heal, and lives are transformed.

Don’t stay silent about the hope you found.
Someone you know is waiting for the light of Christ.

May 16, 2026, we witnessed a beautiful moment of faith as 8 candidates publicly declared their surrender and commitment to Jesus through Water Baptism.

Truly, heaven rejoices over every life that turns to God!
“There is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
- Luke 15:10

We thank the Lord for these transformed lives and for the courage of each person who took this step of faith. May this be the beginning of a deeper walk with Christ and a life filled with His grace and purpose.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!”
- 2 Corinthians 5:17

Last Saturday, May 16, 2026 was truly a blessed and meaningful day at LJOR Cebu South! 🙌💙

Before our Water Baptism, we successfully held our VCLS or Victorious Christian Life Seminar, where our candidates learned more about God’s Word, the Christian life, and the importance of fully surrendering to Jesus Christ. 📖

We thank the Lord because after the seminar and baptism orientation, these precious souls made the heartfelt decision to publicly declare their faith through Water Baptism.

What a joy to witness lives being transformed by God’s grace!

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” - Romans 10:17

And truly, heaven celebrates every soul that comes to Him! 🙏

Jesus is the Light of Life.
Even when life feels heavy, confusing, or broken, the light of Jesus still shines through the darkness. In Him, there is living hope, unshakable peace, and a joy this world cannot take away.

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
— John 8:12

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him.”
— Romans 15:13

Life is not always easy.
There are days filled with pain, disappointment, and uncertainty.
But even in the darkest moments, Jesus remains the Light of Life.
His light brings hope when you feel hopeless, peace when your heart is troubled, and joy even in the middle of storms.
The darkness may surround you… but it will never overcome the light of Christ.

Stay close to Jesus, because where He is, there is life

Faith is believing even when you cannot yet see the outcome.
Sometimes God asks you to trust Him before He reveals the answer. Faith is not walking by sight.... it’s walking with confidence that God is already working behind the scenes.

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.”
- Hebrews 11:1

“For we live by faith, not by sight.” -2 Corinthians 5:7

Faith is trusting God even when nothing around you makes sense.
It’s believing He is working… even when you cannot see it yet.
Anyone can trust when the answer is visible.
But real faith begins in the unseen.

When prayers seem unanswered, when doors remain closed, and when the future feels uncertain, faith says, “God is still faithful.”
Because faith is not based on what your eyes can see…
it is based on who God is.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” - Hebrews 13:8

We often fail because we try to do life on our own. We rely on our own plans, our own understanding, and our own strength… then wonder why we feel lost in the dark.

But Jesus never called you to walk alone.
He said, “I am the Light of the world.” And those who follow Him will never walk in darkness.
When Jesus leads your path, confusion loses its power.

So stop relying only on yourself, and start following the One who sees the way clearly.

When your strength fails, He remains strong.
When your heart is overwhelmed, He remains faithful.

Stop depending on temporary things for eternal peace.
Rely on Jesus alone... because He is the only foundation that will never break.
