On the last Sunday of Advent, we joyfully await the coming of Emmanuelโ€“God-with-us. Like Joseph, who trusted in Godโ€™s plan despite uncertainty, we are called to embrace faith and obedience as we await the birth of Christ, the Light who dispels all darkness.

In our anticipation, we are also called to build community in light of the relationship that the Father brings to humanity as He dwells among us.

For Deliverance from Bad Weather and Natural Calamities

Loving Father,
Creator and Lord of the Universe,
your providence sustains the foundation of the earth
and your Wisdom guides the courses of nature.

We humbly implore you to spare us
from the imminent threat of the typhoon,
to keep us safe from all dangers,
and calm all the storms of life
that threaten each of us.
May we be secure in your loving hands, seek your will in all our experiences,
and serve you as stewards of your creation with grateful hearts.

O Virgin Mary, our Mother,
intercede for us;
and embrace us with your mantle of love
and shield us from all calamities.

PRAYING FOR EVERYONE'S
SAFETY AGAINST TYPHOON TINO

May the Lord help protect us, and may the angels guide and shield us from the harm of the typhoon. Let us always pray to God for protection so that the typhoon will not bring strong destruction. We hope it will not become a super typhoon but remain a weak tropical storm and soon return to normal. May God take care of everyone, keep people safe, and give us spiritual strength and peace. Amen.
