CBF UPV successfully held "๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐", themed ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐ฅ, last April 15, 2026, at CFOS AV Hall, UPV Miagao, where nine pairs of students battled through three challenging rounds, putting their biblical wits to the test.
Clinching the grand prize and this year's champions title, first-year students ๐ ๐ฎ. ๐ฌ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ง๐ถ๐ด๐๐ฒ๐น๐ผ and ๐๐๐น๐ถ๐ผ ๐ ๐ถ๐ด๐๐ฒ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ด๐๐ถ๐ (๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐จ๐ด) gained the highest score of 83. The tandem was closely followed by ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ถ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ผ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ถ and ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ ๐ ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ (๐ ๐ฆ๐ด๐ฉ๐ถ๐ข) who secured second place, while ๐๐น๐น๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ and ๐ฅ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐๐น๐น ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ (๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ฉ'๐ด +2) claimed third place.
The event was further graced by a message from Ptr. Jeric Arcibal, centering on ๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ ๐๐:๐๐-๐๐, where we were reminded of the transformative power of God's Word only when we truly know Jesus. He expounded on what clouds and clarifies our understanding of the Bible, emphasizing humanity's tendency to be forgetful, faithless, and fearful. However, clarity comes when we recognize that the fulfillment of Scripture is found in Christ, that its fullness points to Christ, and that true familiarity with Scripture is only made possible through Christ. He concluded with a sobering reminder: even if we know the Bible from cover to cover, we can still fail to experience and grasp its true essence if we do not genuinely know Jesus.
Indeed, true victory is found in our deep personal relationship and identity in Christ Jesus, surpassing any awards and merits that come from mere biblical knowledge.
