Second semester saw more big group fellowships with more speakers delivering more messages for our biblical knowledge enrichment and spiritual nourishment. Tackled in these sessions were the ๐——๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—น๐˜† ๐—š๐—ผ๐˜€๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—น series, ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ฆ๐—ฎ๐˜†๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜‚๐˜€ series, and ๐—–๐—น๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—น ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—บ series.

Moving through hectic weeks, we found these Tuesday fellowships enveloped with the joy of spending time in the presence of the Lord and His redeemed children refreshing and reassuring. Wisdom gained from the preaching of the Word and comfort received from having this community of fellow Christ-loving believers served to sustain and encourage usโ€”seeing us through the end of this challenging academic year. Truly, the Lord speaks in love, and He works out His good purposes for us by the power of His Word.

Growth team fellowships continued on through the Thursdays of the second semester. Picking up from where they left off, Tribes went through the same ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ ๐—ก๐—ฒ๐˜„๐˜€ ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€ and ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜€ ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ป ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด materials and bonded together as they shared with each other both personal victories and burdens. In laboring for intentional and consistent discipleship, it is our prayer that our faith in His promises be strengthened and our love for Christ deepen even moreโ€”to our sanctification and to His glory.

With great joy, we also celebrated Tribe members who have graduated from the Good News Series. Their dedication to finishing the material is a testament to God's faithful work in their spiritual lives and a source of encouragement to their fellow students of the Word. Even after acquiring much knowledge, may we find ourselves constantly feeding on the Bible and consequently being transformed more and more into the likeness of our Savior.

With musical performances centered around the love of God, the event served to proclaim the unfathomable and never-ending love of God, a love so deep and vast beyond all measure.

Wrapping up the academic year with an annual celebration, Campus Bible Fellowship - University of the Philippines Visayas rejoiced at Camp Nikos, Guimaras for its ๐˜๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐„๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ on June 4-5, 2026.

The event was packed with recreational group activities and a message graced by Pastor Kyle Robles. In his message highlighting ๐ˆ๐ฌ๐š๐ข๐š๐ก ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ–:๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ-๐Ÿ๐Ÿ, Pastor Kyle emphasized God's sustaining grace in orchestrating us to fulfill and continue His great work among mankind, and the importance of assessing our hearts in the ministry. He underscored that no matter how fruitful the ministry and even our personal lives have become, everything loses purpose when Christ is no longer the center of it all. He concluded the session with a reflective year-end question evaluating our relationship with the Lord.

A farewell session was also organized, dedicated to the graduating members, fondly remembering the bond and memories shared with each other, and celebrating God's faithfulness throughout their journeys.

This academic year may have thrown us setbacks and hurdles, but the Lord is only truly faithful to continuously deliver us and accomplish His best intentions for us.

CBF UPV successfully held "๐’๐Ž๐‹๐€ ๐’๐‚๐‘๐ˆ๐๐“๐”๐‘๐€: ๐๐ข๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ณ ๐๐ž๐ž ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”", themed ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐†๐จ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ, last April 15, 2026, at CFOS AV Hall, UPV Miagao, where nine pairs of students battled through three challenging rounds, putting their biblical wits to the test.

Clinching the grand prize and this year's champions title, first-year students ๐— ๐—ฎ. ๐—ฌ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—ฉ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—ง๐—ถ๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ผ and ๐—๐˜‚๐—น๐—ถ๐—ผ ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ฒ๐—น ๐—•๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ด๐˜‚๐—ถ๐˜€ (๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜จ ๐˜ฐ๐˜ง ๐˜š๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜จ๐˜ด) gained the highest score of 83. The tandem was closely followed by ๐—–๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜‡ ๐——๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฒ๐—บ ๐—•๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ผ๐—ฏ๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ถ and ๐—๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜ƒ๐—ฒ (๐˜ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ด๐˜ฉ๐˜ถ๐˜ข) who secured second place, while ๐—˜๐—น๐—น๐˜†๐˜‡๐—ฎ ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐——๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐˜€ and ๐—ฅ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—•๐—ฟ๐˜†๐—น๐—น ๐—›๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ผ (๐˜•๐˜ฐ๐˜ข๐˜ฉ'๐˜ด +2) claimed third place.

The event was further graced by a message from Ptr. Jeric Arcibal, centering on ๐‹๐ฎ๐ค๐ž ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’:๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ“-๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ•, where we were reminded of the transformative power of God's Word only when we truly know Jesus. He expounded on what clouds and clarifies our understanding of the Bible, emphasizing humanity's tendency to be forgetful, faithless, and fearful. However, clarity comes when we recognize that the fulfillment of Scripture is found in Christ, that its fullness points to Christ, and that true familiarity with Scripture is only made possible through Christ. He concluded with a sobering reminder: even if we know the Bible from cover to cover, we can still fail to experience and grasp its true essence if we do not genuinely know Jesus.

Indeed, true victory is found in our deep personal relationship and identity in Christ Jesus, surpassing any awards and merits that come from mere biblical knowledge.
