The SC-Meycauayan is under the organization umbrella of SERVANT COMMUNITIES INTERNATIONAL - a various catholic charismatic community from different dioceses in the country and even overseas. he Head of Kawan ng Diyos of all charismatic groups in the Diocese of Malolos, happened to meet Fr. Polinar, was impressed by the ten (10) years formation program of the Servant Communities. She introduced Fr. Polinar to Fr. Rolando Ang, co-parish priest of Fr. Irineo Empay in San Isidro Parish in Malhacan, Meycauayan. After the approval of the parish priests, an orientation program was immediately conducted by the former. A core group initiated the SC 10-years formation program and it will be parish-based operating under the spiritual guidance of the parish priest then the spiritual journey of the community began. During this time the formation teachings struck Sis. Asuncion "Baby" Joaquin together with Sis Sonia Manalastas and other co-leaders within the couple cell groups, devoutly dedicated themselves to the community's mission, reaching out in many areas. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and their efforts, many usual catholics have changed and became committed workers of the parish. For almost twenty six (26) years, SC Meycauayan embraced SC mission and vision where they decided to commit themselves more deeply to the Lord and to love each other. Being a community member of the greater SC – family, it enjoys the privileges of learning and supporting from the other affiliated communities. It is also given the opportunity to broaden its horizons through ministering beyond its immediate boundaries and in other locations while still maintaining its mission to the parish. Therefore, SC- Meycauayan is a body of Christians who bind themselves together with a committed love, to love one another, promote unity among the members and serve the Lord with all their hearts. The community is also concerned in the faith formation of each member. Activities are geared towards the development of our parish. Many or most of our members keep their affiliation to different church organizations in order to support the vision and mission of the parish, their programs of evangelization, christian education, values and other endeavors.
