From worship to games and Bible lessons, every moment was an opportunity for our children to discover God's love and power. We are grateful to see them growing stronger in faith and building friendships along the way.

✨ 𝐂𝐆𝐑 πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ” | π–πžπžπ€ πŸ‘ | 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟎, πŸπŸŽπŸπŸ” ✨

This week, we looked back at the dysfunctional environments we grew up in to understand why we cope the way we do. When chaos is normal, we repetitively take on roles just to keep the peace or protect ourselves. That cycle of trying to fix, hide, or survive on our own strength is where the insanity is grounded.

​But generational brokenness doesn't get the final say. Recovery in Christ means recognizing the old patterns, thanking God for protecting us through the storm, and stepping out of the old roles. We are trading the survival scripts of our past for the freedom of being God's children. πŸ’™πŸ™ŒπŸ»

Two weeks into our CGR journey, and one truth became clear this week: in order to move forward, we need to understand what’s behind us. πŸ™

As we talked about dysfunctional families, painful experiences, and unhealthy patterns, we realized that while our past may have shaped us, it does not have to define us. Looking back isn’t about staying stuck β€” it’s about recognizing the roots of our struggles so we can finally heal and grow. πŸ’™

By understanding our β€œwhy,” God helps us discover a better β€œhow” for the future. Step by step, He is teaching us to walk lighter, think clearer, and live freer. ✨
