The General Meeting of Ministry Teams was more than a gathering - it was a meaningful reminder of the privilege and purpose of serving God.
Ps. Al Termulo warmly welcomed everyone and expressed his appreciation for each minister who faithfully gives time, energy, and heart to the work of the Lord. He described ministers as “silent achievers” who embody the qualities of being Faithful, Available, Teachable, and Spiritually Reproducible (FATS). He also welcomed new ministry members who had successfully completed the assimilation process.
Psa. Citas encouraged everyone through Acts 20:24, sharing Paul’s perspective on ministry and calling. Paul considered the calling he received from the Lord greater than his own life. In the same way, when we recognize that it is God who has called us to serve, ministry takes on greater value and meaning. As we faithfully serve, God not only equips us for the work but also draws us closer to Him.
Each minister was also challenged to live intentionally, highlighting three marks of an intentional life as taught by Ps. Edmund Chan:
1. Establish a Purpose that Grounds You.
2. Essentialize Priorities that Govern Focus.
3. Embrace a Passion that Grows You.
When these three converged, our lives gain clarity, depth, and a vital contribution to the work God has entrusted to us. As ministry teams continue to serve, grow, and walk together, one thought remains as a meaningful challenge: “A life that counts is not accidental. It’s intentional.”
