OUR HISTORY

Son of God Church International Ministries, commonly known as SOGCIM, is strategically located at 761 CDM Building, McArthur Highway, Bancal, Meycauayan City, Bulacan, Philippines. Brecio was born on December 2, 1965, at Marulas, Valenzuela City. He studied at the University of the East, graduated with a degree major in Electronics Engineering and Communication. While pastoring the ch

urch, he also worked as a manager in Eastern Telecommunication, he was married to Cristina Ladero Brecio, and was blessed with 3 children – James, Jachel, and Jenny. It was in the year 1996 when he accepted God’s call to pioneer a church in Saluysoy, City of Meycauayan, Bulacan. The church was formerly named Jesus Christ the Son of God Church. Its ministry started through bible study, house visitation, tracts distribution, worship services, and crusades in different communities, cities, and near provinces. Because of God’s grace and faithfulness, and with the Church Mission: TO LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, AND MAKE DISCIPLES, the church grew from 12 family members, and now ministering to more than 400 families in all its churches, local and abroad. Last November 15, 2018, the church decided to register its name as SON OF GOD CHURCH INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES, INC. (SOGCIM) in the Security and Exchange Commission (Registered No. CN201841586). SOGCIM continuously grow in leadership and expands its ministries in campuses, manages life groups, one on one evangelism and discipleship, encounter retreats, and church planting. Now we are having 3 satellite churches:

SOGCIM Central – currently headed by Pastor Francis Lobo Brecio. SOGCIM Malabon – started last September 1, 2019, and was formerly pastored by Pastor Patrick Vincent Leliza, and now headed by Pastor Wary Guinsatao. SOGCIM Pantoc – started last March 1, 2020, and currently headed by Pastor Frederick L. Brecio. Apparently, because of severe sickness, pastor Ferdie was diagnosed with cancer. He didn’t survive and died last February 8, 2021. His position as senior pastor was turnover to his youngest brother –Pastor Francis Lobo Brecio. Pastor Francis Lobo Brecio was ordained and appointed as the new senior pastor of Son of God Church International Ministries effective last February 28, 2021. At present, the church is constantly growing and reaching out to people through social media, uses as many avenues as possible, and platforms to evangelize and make disciples. The church also started to have its very own Hikanos Bible School and developed more leaders and pastors, in establishing a thousand churches throughout the Philippines and abroad, because we believed and are relentlessly focused on our vision: TO SEE GOD'S KINGDOM ADVANCE TO EVERY NATION.. SCHEDULES:

� Youth Gig - Sundays, 3:00 p.m.
� Young Adult & Professionals Fellowship (YAP) - Tuesdays, 7:00 p.m.
� Online Daily Devotion - Monday to Thursday & Saturday, 8:00 p.m.
� Night of Prayer, Friday, 7:00 p.m.

Kung ang presensya mo sa iyong trabaho, sa school, o komunidad ay hindi man lang nakakagambala sa kasalanan, BAKA SUMASABAY KA NA SA AGOS.

Ang totoong kristiano, DISRUPTIVE sila sa mundo –
• Kapag ang lahat ay nagnanakaw sa oras, at ikaw ay tapat—nadi-disrupt sila.
• Kapag ang lahat ay nagpapakalat ng tsismis, at ikaw ay nagtatanggol sa pangalan ng katabi mo—binabangga mo ang kadiliman nila, at magagalit sila.
• Kapag sila ay corrupt, at ikaw ay hindi – nagugulo ang sistema nila.
• Kapag ang lahat ay sumasabay sa maduming politika, tapos ikaw ay nagpopromote ng peace— nabubulabog sila!

Pansinin ninyo ang takbo ng politika sa Pilipinas ngayon—
Puno ng political drama, kanya-kanyang narratives or kwento para tabunan na yung major issues ng bansa. Ang daming girian sa gobyerno – parinigan, sisihan. At kanya-kanyang hilahan pababa para sa pansariling interes.

KUNG KRISTIANO KA, WAG NA TAYONG SUMABAY SA AGOS NG POLITIKA. WE MUST COUNTER THE POLITICAL CULTURE.
• Bakit nakikisama ka sa away nila eh kristiano ka?
• Hindi tayo lawyer ni Bato, at hindi rin tayo pulis ng ICC.
• Hindi po tayo ambassador ni BBM o ambassador ni Sarah. TAYO PO AY AMBASSADOR NI CRISTO!

Kung ambassador tayo ni Jesus, HINDI PO BAGAY SA ATIN ANG MAKIPAG-AWAY AT MANG-INSULTO. I-raise mo yung concern mo sa mabuti, tama, at kristianong paraan. At wag kang bumaba sa kultura ng maruming politika.
• Biro mo, ang trabaho ng lawyer ay magtanggol. Tapos ikaw, hindi ka naman lawyer pero yung lawyer na yung pinagtatanggol mo.
• Hindi naman tayo judge, pero ang bilis nating mag-judged.

Lesson:
MAGING THERMOSTAT TAYO AT HINDI THERMOMETER.
• Ang thermometer – sumasabay lang sa temperatura ng kwarto—kung mainit ang paligid, iinit din siya.
• Pero ang thermostat – SIYA ANG NAGDIDIKTA AT NAGBABAGO NG TEMPERATURA.

Ang tanong: Tayo ba ay sumasabay lang sa gulo, o tayo ang nagli-lead ng kabutihan at pagbabago? BE A COUNTER CULTURE CHURCH!

Dear SOGCIM Family,

This is an urgent and late announcement. We are currently facing a critical issue with our church's electrical system. The wiring has been flagged as hazardous and poses an immediate fire risk.

For your safety, you may choose to attend our services at either of our daughter churches: SOGCIM Malabon @ 9:30am or SOGCIM Caloocan @ 7pm.

Alternatively, if you still wish to attend SOGCIM Central this morning, please be advised that we will proceed with the service despite having no electricity. We deeply appreciate your sacrifice and willingness to endure this inconvenience.

Madali nating batikusin ang mga tiwaling opisyal, pero marami sa atin ang may sarili ring bersyon ng COVER-UP CULTURE sa loob ng ating tahanan at simbahan.

Tulad ng isang politikong may itinatagong anomalya, marami sa atin ang may lihim na adiksyon, may sirang relasyon na pilit itinatanggi, at may mga mabibigat na kasalanang ibinaon sa dilim dahil sa takot na mabulgar at mahusgahan.

Nagtatago tayo sa pamamagitan ng "Double Life":
• May mga "Secret Conversations" na naka-disappearing messages.
• May mga pangalan sa contact list na pinalitan ang pangalan. (Ang nakalagay “Pareng jojo”, pero ang totoo si “Mareng Josie” pala).
• Kapag nagkamali o nagtaksil, sa halip na umamin, gumagawa tayo ng mararangyang regalo o biglaang "sweet gestures" para takpan ang guilt. Ang tawag doon ay GUILT-BUYING—sinusuhulan natin ang kapayapaan ng ating pamilya para hindi mabuko ang dumi natin.

Ang kasalanan ay may kapangyarihan lang habang ito ay nakatago sa dilim. Kapag pinanatili mong sikreto ang iyong pagkakamali, BINIBIGYAN MO ANG KAAWAY NG LISENSYA NA I-BLACKMAIL ANG IYONG BUHAY GABI-GABI GAMIT ANG GUILT, TAKOT, AT DEPRESYON.

Ang Holy Spirit na kumilos sa book ng Acts ay Siya ring Holy Spirit na nananahan sa iyo at sa akin ngayon. Hindi Siya humina. Hindi Siya naluma. The power of the Church is not a matter of history; it is our present reality.

POINT 1: The Power is in the Person, Not the Period
Ang limitasyon ay wala sa Kanya; ang limitasyon ay nasa pananampalataya mo, nasa pananampalatay ng katabi mo, nasa pananampalatay nating mga Kristiyano.

God did not design you to be a victim of your season. You are meant to conquer it.

"You cannot control the wind, but you can always adjust your sails."

POINT 2: Boldness is a Product of Prayer, Not Personality

We often think that being bold, being courageous, and stepping out in faith is a personality trait.
Akala natin, pinapanganak lang talaga ang mga taong matatapang. But here is the massive shift in perspective: Boldness is a product of prayer, not personality. Ang tunay na lakas ng loob ay hindi nakukuha sa pagiging extrovert; nakukuha ito sa pagluhod sa harap ng Diyos. Confidence is natural, but boldness is supernatural.

When you kneel before God, you can stand before any man.
God does not call the qualified; He qualifies the called through prayer.

"Hindi mo kailangang maging malakas ang boses para pakinggan ng mundo, kailangan mo lang maging malakas sa pananalangin para pakinggan ng Langit."

POINT 3: We Don’t Need Better Programs; We Need the Same Spirit

The Holy Spirit does not flow through methods; He flows through people who are completely surrendered.

"Hindi natin kailangan ng mas makabagong diskarte; kailangan natin ng mas malalim na pagsuko sa Lumikha."

Gamitin natin ang teknolohiya, gumawa tayo ng magagandang plano, pero huwag nating kalimutan kung nasaan ang tunay na kapangyarihan.
It is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.
Kung paanong ang parehong Espiritu na bumuhay kay Hesus mula sa kamatayan ang siyang kumikilos noon, Siya pa rin ang kumikilos ngayon. Hilingin natin ang apoy ng Diyos, hindi ang palakpak ng tao.

TANDAAN: Kapag nanalangin ka para sa may sakit, huwag kang umasa sa sarili mong lakas. Umasa ka sa Same Power ng Holy Spirit. Kapag nangaral ka sa pamilya mo na matigas ang puso, huwag kang umasa sa galing mong mag-argumento. Umasa ka sa Same Spirit.
Kapag pakiramdam mo ay pagod na pagod ka na at hindi mo na kaya ang mga problema mo, tandaan mo: ang Source ng lakas mo ay hindi nagbago. Ang Holy Spirit noon, ay Sya ding Holy Spirit natin ngayon. Ang Diyos noon, Diyos pa din natin hanggang ngayon.
