How's life lately? We pray that you're doing well!

Life can be hard, right? Is there ever a time when you start to question yourself if you could ever get through the things that are happening?

Ano man yan, though it's easier said than done, pero keep in mind na God is with you, He loves you and He cherish you.

Look back and ponder, then you'll realize na yung mga bagay na ine-enjoy mo now, maybe it's the quiz na naipasa mo, or yung ice cream na kinain mo nung isang araw, or yung ulan na nag stop. They were once a prayer and now answered by God.

We are living in an answered prayer. Pero as we always say, because we get to enjoy it everytime, na o-overlook na natin na it's all because of God.

"I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live."

Does optimism really always do you good? When you look forward to a bright tomorrow, does it mean that you're anchored well?

What if the flowery future that you have in your mind is not the thing that God had planned for your present? What will you do?

Drifting away from God is not too far fetched when disappointment is what's in your heart and mind. From, "God will do it!" To, "Why did you let that happen, God?".

There are instances when we look at God and His plans in a way that favors us, we're turning Him into a certain persona that we want to believe in, but that's not how it should be. We know how mysteriously He moves.

We don't know anything about the plot twists that are waiting for us, all we know is no matter what happens His plans are perfect and all we need to do is to surrender and be left in awe of His goodness.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

- Proverbs 3:5-6

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒂𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍.

Even though the loss didn’t feel like kindness when everything broke down and you were left in the aftermath of hurt- it was. Because sometimes the most loving thing God can do in your life is to remove what you would have settled for, just to show you what you never have to settle for again.

These words from Rebecca Simon that i found last October 2025 revealed God’s character in the middle of the breaking season that i was in when I lost someone whom I thought i’m gonna spend the rest of my life with. And sure it was true. The excruciating pain of losing something you were once sure of didn’t feel like God’s kindness at all.

I couldn’t even understand why would He allow something that would hurt me so deeply. It was unbearable.

𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏, 𝑯𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆. He was there when I was crying silently in the bathroom floor and hugged me through my blankets. He even endured my questions and my unfaithfulness. He saw every wrong move, u-turns, and setbacks but those things didn’t matter.

What mattered to Him was his little girl. His daughter who was settling for something she didn’t call her to be. So even if that would hurt his child, he allowed it to happen.

Because that’s the kind of God he is. He is a father. And I get to be His daughter whom he never gave up on. That Father who called me his own just wanted me to come back home.

And when i went home to Him, I now understand why the pain was necessary. In the middle of suffering, He met me. Broken. Tired. A total mess. During my suffering, He was there. He was present. He did remove a thing in my life but now I know that’s the kindest and most loving thing He did for me.

Back then, I called it as loss. Now I call it His kindness.
