Christ, the End of the Law
Romans 10:4
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Christ is the goal and end of the law.💛

Law can’t annul the promise of God. It is only a temporary guardian. It is not an independent path to righteousness. It is related to all what God did and what God promised.

When Christ comes, believers are no longer under the law. Our zeal won’t add to our righteousness. It’s a response of God’s righteousness given to us.

Jesus Christ is the source of righteousness for everyone who believes.💛

Praise the Lord for our monthly Bible class and feeding in the mountain. Praise You, Lord, for the time to teach young children about prayer. 💛

Just as God Said
Romans 9:25-29

God's saving purpose has unfolded exactly as He foretold.

God calls those who were not His people, saves a remnant from Israel and preserves a people by His mercy.

God's Word never fails, just as He said. God's Word will be fulfilled, just as He said.💛

Apart from God's grace, we would all stand in judgment.

But the God who calls those who “were not My people" is still saving sinners today.

Romans 8:31-34 tells us that "God is for us" is the believer's absolute security.💛

No opposition, no accusation, and no condemnation can stand against those who belong to God.

No enemy will be victorious in taking away our salvation since God is for us. If someone accuses us, let's go back to the Cross. We are declared righteous. God justifies us, and Christ secures us.

You can never ultimately be lost when you are with God.💛

Truth preserved becomes truth proclaimed.
Preacher is called to be faithful to the gospel.
God sustains the church through faithful and repeated teaching of the truth.

Hope through Christ's Resurrection 💛

1 Peter 1:3
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead"

We celebrate Christ's resurrection because we now have a living hope.
Our living hope is true because it is grounded on Christ's resurrection.
Our living hope is an inheritance reserved in heaven for us and will last forever.

We can rejoice in the midst of trials, maintain our worth despite the misfortunes, and go through in this world with dignity and optimism because of our living hope. Our hope rests on what God has done.

Our hope is alive because Christ is alive.

A Remembrance of What Jesus Did on the Cross

1 Peter 2:24
"who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed."

Jesus Christ bearing our sins is the center of redemption story. Christ taking our place is the great doctrine of substitution. He took on the punishment using His body. He voluntarily bore our sins that we might live for righteousness, and we are restored through His wounds.

The Cross is where God's mercy and justice meet. Good Friday is an invitation to trust Christ fully.💛
