Bisan sa simple nga paagi, nagkahiusa ang komunidad sa pagpakita sa pagtuo, pagrespeto, ug pagpasalamat sa mga grasya nga among nadawat matag adlaw. Hinaut nga magpadayon ang kahayag sa pagtuo ug panaghiusa sa matag usa pinaagi niining matahum nga tradisyon.

FLOS CARMELI | Our warmest congratulations to our dear Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dindo Yosores (James Dindo of the Cross), and to our dear Parochial Vicar, Rev. Fr. Jesam Felicano (John Jesam of the Child Jesus), on their admission to the Order of Discalced Carmelite Fraternity of Priests - Cebu Chapter.

The Rite of Admission and Investiture was held today, May 22, 2026, at the Carmelite Monastery of Cebu and was administered by Rev. Fr. Paulo Gamboa, OCD, together with Rev. Fr. Ariel Dotusme, Rev. Fr. Alden John Baran, and Rev. Fr. Raymund Michael Chan.

May the Lord continue to bless your priestly ministry with wisdom, humility, and zeal as you deepen your vocation in the spirituality of Carmel. May Our Lady of Mount Carmel and St. Teresa of Jesus guide and protect you always.

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! | Today, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cebu joins in honoring women who nurture, sacrifice, and lead our families with a love that mirrors the tenderness of God.

As Catholics, we look to the Blessed Virgin Mary as our supreme model of motherhood. Her ‘fiat’ not only brought our Savior into the world but also provided the blueprint for a prayerful life and quiet strength.

Just as Mary stood at the foot of the Cross and rejoiced at the Resurrection, our mothers walk with us through every season of life.

Let us offer our prayers for them today, asking for the intercession of our Blessed Mother to sustain them with grace, patience, and joy in their vocation.

Amid the beauty of blooming flowers this Flores de Mayo, we are reminded that like a branch that gives life when it stays connected, our lives also need to stay close to God, because when it is cut off, it slowly dies just like a life without him.

When we let negativity take over, even all our hard work can quickly disappear like a bubble, but when we choose to stay hopeful, trust God, and do what is right, our lives will continue to grow and bloom with his grace.
