POPE FRANCIS RETIREMENT SPEECH THAT SHOCKS THE WORLD

Please look at the speech that was read yesterday at retirement by the Pope.
Regardless of religion, see how Pope Francis has beautifully written about the family.

FAMILY, PLACE OF FORGIVENESS ...

©️ There is no perfect family.

©️ We do not have perfect parents,
- you are not perfect yourself.
We do not marry a perfect person or we do not have perfect children.

©️ We have complaints from each other. We can not live together without offending one another.

©️ We are constantly disappointed. Yes for so many reasons at different times we are disappointed by one another.

©️ There is no healthy marriage or healthy family without the exercise of forgiveness. Forgiveness is the medicine of family joy and happiness.

©️ Forgiveness is vital to our emotional health and spiritual survival. No matter the offence or who is the offender. Without forgiveness, the family becomes an arena of conflict and a fortress of evil.

©️ Without forgiveness, the family becomes sick and unhealthy.

©️ Forgiveness is the asepsis of the soul, the purification of the spirit and the liberation of the heart. No sin is too big to be forgiven.
He who does not forgive does not have peace in his soul and can not have communion with God.

©️ Unforgiving is Evil and a poison that intoxicates and kills the one who refuses to forgive.

©️ Keeping heartache of unforgiving in your heart is a self-destructive gesture. It's autophagy.

©️ Those who do not forgive are physically, emotionally and spiritually ill. And they will suffer in two ways.

For this reason, the family must be a place of life and not a place of death; a place of forgiveness, a place of paradise and not a place of hell; A healing territory and not a disease; an internship of forgiveness and not guilt.

Forgiveness brings joy where sorrow has brought sadness; of
Healing where sorrow has caused disease.

A family is a place of support and not of gossip and slander of one another. It must be a place of welcome not a place of rejection. Shame to those who plant evil about others. We are family and not enemies.

When anyone is going through a challenge all they need is support.

JESUS CONQUERED DEATH
by Pope Francis.

April 15, 2017
THE GOSPEL Matthew 28:1-10

After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women in reply, “Do not be afraid! I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.” Then they went away quickly from the tomb, fearful yet overjoyed, and ran to announce this to his disciples. And behold, Jesus met them on their way and greeted them. They approached, embraced his feet, and did him homage. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”

THE REFLECTION:

Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb of Jesus. But they were told by an angel that He was not there anymore for He has already risen. Immediately after that, their hearts were already on fire and they were filled with joy and peace for Jesus is alive. Jesus conquered death! Nothing on heaven and earth and all creation, can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!

Because Jesus conquered death, there is a new reality; a new life with Jesus for you and for me right here and right now. It tells us that the power of God is greater than the power of death; greater than all the losses we suffer in this life; greater than the sum total of our fears.
Now we know that the ultimate victor is always and ever LIFE! This is the good news, the best ever good news! For this day of celebration, and it the good news, in every day that’s to come: that no matter what, we will be always alive with Jesus and we will conquer our fear and sorrows.
In the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are alive, beloved; and we’ll be alive now and eternally! Christ is Risen!

PRAYER:

Lord Jesus, We welcome you in our life and be alive in our heart, help us to live all of your teachings in our life so that we may always conquer our fear and sorrows..
AVE MARIA… St. Paternus, Bishop, pray for us.
NOTE: We can have our own spirit filled comment that can help others, We can also tag or share it to our friends. We will never know that it might change his/her life for Jesus.
GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH….

Weekday

First Reading: Hebrews 4:1-5, 11

1Therefore, while the promise of entering his rest remains, let us fear lest any of you be judged to have failed to reach it.2For good news came to us just as to them; but the message which they heard did not benefit them, because it did not meet with faith in the hearers.3For we who have believed enter that rest, as he has said, "As I swore in my wrath, `They shall never enter my rest, '"although his works were finished from the foundation of the world.4For he has somewhere spoken of the seventh day in this way, "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works."5And again in this place he said, "They shall never enter my rest."11Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, that no one fall by the same sort of disobedience.

Responsorial Psalm: Psalms 78:3, 4, 6-8

3things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. 4We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders which he has wrought. 6that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, 7so that they should set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; 8and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Gospel: Mark 2:1-12

1And when he returned to Caper'na-um after some days, it was reported that he was at home. 2And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room for them, not even about the door; and he was preaching the word to them. 3And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him; and when they had made an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic lay. 5And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "My son, your sins are forgiven." 6Now some of the scribes were sitting there, questioning in their hearts, 7"Why does this man speak thus? It is blasphemy! Who can forgive sins but God alone?" 8And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they thus questioned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you question thus in your hearts? 9Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, `Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, `Rise, take up your pallet and walk'? 10But that you may know that the Son of man has authority on earth to forgive sins" -- he said to the paralytic -- 11"I say to you, rise, take up your pallet and go home." 12And he rose, and immediately took up the pallet and went out before them all; so that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"

JESUS THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES

January 01, 2017
THE GOSPEL: Luke 2:16-21
16 And they went with haste, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. 17 And when they saw it they made known the saying which had been told them concerning this child; 18 and all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. 19 But Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart. 20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them. 21 And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
THE REFLECTION:
The name Jesus is at the heart of all Christian prayer. It is through and in Jesus that we pray to the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. Many Christians have died with one word on their lips, the name of Jesus. Do we exalt the name of Jesus and pray with confidence in His name?
PRAYER:
"Lord Jesus Christ, we exalt Your name above all name. For in You we have pardon, mercy, grace and victory over sin and death. You humbled Yourself for our sake and for the sake of all sinners by sharing in our humanity and by dying on the cross. Help us to always praise Your holy name and to live for Your greater glory.“ Amen!
AVE MARIA+, Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.
