[9] The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

God does not value what the world chasesโ€”wealth, power, or fame. These are temporary and empty. Instead, ๐‡๐ข๐ฌ ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญโ€™๐ฌ ๐๐ž๐ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ซ๐ž ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฌ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง. He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish, but all to repent and turn to Him.

Because this is His priority, it must be ours too. Sharing the good news must not be an occasional task, but be our daily lifestyle. We live to lead others to Him, mirroring His endless love and patience.

Paulโ€™s words remind us that the poorest Macedonian churches overflowed with generosity even in deep trouble, because they first gave themselves fully to the Lord. Generosity is never about how much we have; it is about how much we trust God who supplies all we need. Christ set the perfect example: though He was rich, He became poor for us, so that through His poverty we might become rich in grace and eternal life.

To โ€œ๐™š๐™ญ๐™˜๐™š๐™ก ๐™ž๐™ฃ ๐™œ๐™ž๐™ซ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œโ€ means giving freely, cheerfully, and according to what God has blessed us withโ€”not out of pressure, but out of love for God and care for others. It is a way of living that reflects the heart of Jesus, turning our blessings into hope for those around us, and proving that Godโ€™s love is our greatest motivation.
