Mark your calendars, brothers and sisters! The month of February is here, which means it is the Month of Love.

This year’s NESCON activity features "𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦," a special event in celebration of Love Month on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

With the theme “𝐀𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚: 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬,” this event invites us to reflect on the true importance of love, especially the love that comes from God.

Did you know that the word 𝐀𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚 (אהבה), the first word in the book of Hebrew, means love? More than a mere emotion, Ahava signifies a deep, action-oriented commitment marked by affection and devotion.

This event centers on the love that comes from God, a love that has saved and continues to save every soul. It is a love that never perishes, but instead endures and prospers when we truly believe in Him and offer Him our praise.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲: 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗕𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 😇✨

The "𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆" 𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 kicks off TODAY (Jan 31, 2026) at 8:00pm via Google Meet! This is Series 1 of 12, hosted by 𝑬𝒅𝒊𝒔𝒐𝒏 𝑳𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒄𝒐𝒑.

During the session, he emphasized that without purpose, discipleship becomes activity; with purpose, it becomes 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏. The session was grounded in God's Word – 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒃𝒔 19:21 reminds us His purpose prevails, 𝑬𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒔 2:10 calls us His workmanship for good works, and 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒘 28:19-20 gives us the Great Commission that shapes every disciple's path.

Indeed, discipleship has a clear purpose: 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝑱𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏.🤍

𝙸𝙶𝙽𝙸𝚃𝙴𝙳 🔥✨

NYI The Chosen of the Camada Church of the Nazarene, was blessed to join a 2-day Youth Revival and Leadership Training at Borongan Church of the Nazarene 🌟. The theme was "Ignite the Fire Within, Pursuing Holiness, Discipleship, and Bold Faith".

Rev. Ilde Detalo, Senior Pastor of Rock of Ages CON, preached a powerful message on pursuing holiness, emphasizing a continuous, growing moment-by-moment interaction with God. She also shared insights on types of individuals in a faith timeline: Non-Christian, Curious, Baby Christian, Not Growing Christian, Growing and Mature Christian, and Saint. The youth were blessed to assess themselves, identifying their type and areas for improvement.

On the second day, Mr. Laurence Balbin led a devotion on intentional discipleship, highlighting qualities like seeking God and having a teachable spirit. Rev. Jairus Ofilanda spoke on leadership, ending with the NYI motto, 1 Timothy 4:12: "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity." 💪
