Jeremiah 1:7: "But the Lord said to me, 'Do not say, "I am only a youth"; for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you.'"

On Friday evening, July 10, 2026, the youth of Seventh-Day Adventist Cogon Church gathered alongside fellow Kapaglaum District Youths for such a memorable night. We felt so welcomed as the newest members of the Kapaglaum family, coming together with friends from across the district for the last night of Voice of Youth 2026.

We were blessed to have Sister Bea Guiñeta as our speaker for this special gathering. Her words spoke straight to our hearts, reminding us of our purpose and encouraging us to keep standing firm in our faith as young believers.

This night showed exactly what we stand for as Cogon SDA Youths. We are rooted in faith, eager to serve, and brave to share what we believe. We stand together with all Kapaglaum Youths as a generation full of hope, ready to grow in grace and shine bright wherever we go.

Sa matag kahayag sa mga bituon nga nagdan-ag sa kalangitan, atong mahinumduman ang walay kinutuban nga gahum ug gugma sa atong Magbubuhat. Sama sa Iyang pag-atiman sa tanang binuhat, ang Adlaw'ng Igpapahulay usa ka balaang gasa aron kita makapahulay, makapamalandong, ug makapalig-on sa atong relasyon Kaniya. Colossians 3:21: "Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged."

‎LOOK! | On Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2026, the youth of Seventh-Day Adventist Cogon Church came together to mark a meaningful Father’s Day celebration. The gathering centered on honoring every figure who stands strong as a provider, guide, and protector within the home, lifting up the beautiful promise found in Scriptures.

‎It recognized the deep love, quiet strength, and lifelong sacrifices of fathers who walk faithfully before God and their families. Through every hardship and joy, their steady care shapes character and builds security, leaving a legacy of integrity and grace that reaches far beyond their own years. Their example becomes a lasting blessing, just as the holy word declares.

‎Special tributes was also given to single mothers who courageously took on both roles, pouring out double devotion, bearing double burdens, and loving without reserve. Whether leading alone or alongside a partner, every selfless leader who nurtures children in truth and faith carries a blessed heritage, and their children stand enriched by goodness passed down through generations.

Samtang atong gisaulog dili lamang ang gasa sa atong mga amahan dinhi sa yuta nga naggiya, nagapanalipod, ug nagatiman kanato, apan usab ang walay katapusang gugma sa atong Langitnong Amahan nga nagtawag kanato nga Iyang mga anak. Ang Sabbath nagapahinumdom kanato sa Iyang mahumok nga pag-atiman—usa ka balaang panahon diin Iyang tigumon ang Iyang pamilya sa pagduol, naghatag ug pahulay, pagbag-o, ug kalipay diha sa Iyang presensya.

Samtang atong gihatagan ug dungog ang mga amahan sa atong mga panimalay ug komunidad, atong hinumdoman nga ang matag buhat sa gugma ug paghalad nagapakita sa kasingkasing sa Dios, ang Amahan sa tanan. Ang Iyang paggakos mas lapad pa kay sa bisan unsang sirkulo sa pamilya, ang Iyang pagpailob mas lawom pa kay sa bisan unsang panag-uban dinhi sa yuta, ug ang Iyang mga saad mas magpadayon pa kay sa panahon mismo.

1 Timothy 4:12"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity."

The Cogon Seventh-day Adventist youth showed their support and active participation as they joined the Mati-A Sports Camp 2026 that was held in Calapagan, Lupon, Davao Oriental.

The youth actively participated in different activities in a way that they would grow, not just emotionally and socially, but also spiritually. They not only joined to have fun but also to make friends and make memories. The memories that will never be forgotten and will be cherished forever. As we have a new path to take, it is not a goodbye but a new beginning to a new journey. The Cogon Church will always support and love Mati-A District.

May the Lord always be the center of everyone's heart and mind in this life of ours. And always showered blessings and peace into the world.
