𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭!

The Knights of the Altar of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Don Bosco Mati, recently participated in the San Nicholas De Tolentino Vicariate Altar Servers' Gathering.

Yesterday’s 2026 gathering was filled with great memories as altar servers from across the vicariate came together in the spirit of unity. It was a privilege for the SHJP Don Bosco-Mati brothers to join such a meaningful gathering and demonstrate the true meaning of fellowship. This was certainly an experience to remember!

Theme: "Where Love Abides, God Resides: Following the Path of St. Dominic Savio"

Today marks a milestone as we celebrate our 4th Fiesta Celebration. St. Dominic Savio, the "small giant of the spirit," taught us that the enemy of God's grace is sin, and the remedy is a life lived in joyful service.

Following his path means choosing love over conflict, prayer over distraction, and God over all. We pray that our parish/community continues to grow in the virtues of our young saint—pure in heart, diligent in work, and constant in prayer.

DAY 9 | MAY 5 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

"Solemn Procession"

On the final day of our novena, we remember the beautiful words of St. Dominic as he passed away: "I see such beautiful things!" He is now a giant of the spirit in the kingdom of God. We end our prayer with the hope of one day joining him in eternal glory.

Day 9 Prayer: St. Dominic, thank you for your intercession. May the lessons we learned during this novena remain in our hearts forever until we meet again in Heaven. Amen.

DAY 8 | MAY 4 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

"Novena Caravan Panombon, Zone 2"

St. Dominic Savio was known for pacifying arguments and bringing peace among his companions. He led his friends to God through his gentle example and kind words. Today, we pray to be instruments of peace in our families, schools, and communities.

Day 8 Prayer: St. Dominic, help us to be true friends who encourage others toward what is good and to always seek reconciliation and peace. Amen.

DAY 7 | MAY 3 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

St. Dominic had a profound filial devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He consecrated his life to her and founded a group to honor her. Today, we ask our Mother Mary to wrap us in her mantle and guide us safely to her Son, just as she guided Dominic.

Day 7 Prayer: St. Dominic, teach us to love Mary with all our hearts and to trust in her maternal protection every day of our lives. Amen.

DAY 6 | MAY 2 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

"Novena Caravan Tamisan, Zone 4"

The Holy Eucharist was the center of St. Dominic Savio’s life and the source of his strength. He spent hours in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Today, we pray for a deeper love for the Mass and a heart that always longs to receive Jesus in Holy Communion.

Day 6 Prayer: St. Dominic, lead us closer to the Altar and help us to always receive the Lord with a pure and prepared soul. Amen.

DAY 5 | MAY 1 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

"Novena Caravan Batiano, Zone 5"

St. Dominic Savio was a most assiduous student, fulfilling his duties with excellence. He showed us that even our studies and daily work can be a form of prayer when offered to God. Today, we pray for all students and researchers to have the same focus and dedication.

Day 5 Prayer: St. Dominic, inspire us to be hardworking and to use our talents and knowledge for the good of others and the glory of the Father. Amen.

"Holiness consists in being cheerful." St. Dominic Savio taught us that serving God is not a heavy burden but a source of great joy. Today, we pray that our service at the Altar and our kindness toward others may always be offered with a happy and willing heart.

Day 4 Prayer: St. Dominic, help us to find joy in our duties and to share the light of Christ with everyone we meet through our smiles and positive spirit. Amen.

DAY 3 | APRIL 29 NOVENA IN HONOR OF ST. DOMINIC SAVIO

"Death rather than sin." This was the heroic motto of St. Dominic Savio. He chose to have a clean heart and the courage to say no to things that were wrong. Today, we ask for that same strength to stand up for what is right and to keep our souls pure in the eyes of God.

Day 3 Prayer: St. Dominic, give us the courage to turn away from temptation and the grace to always seek God's forgiveness and peace. Amen.
