Amidst the many challenges, worries, and struggles that we experience in life, Christ is always there, giving us peace and reminding us that we are never alone. Even when our hearts are troubled or uncertain, God continues to guide us with His love and presence. Through prayer and faith, we learn to trust that the Lord remains with us in every situation, strengthening us and leading us closer to Him.

As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday, we are reminded of how the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples and filled them with courage, wisdom, and peace. The same Holy Spirit continues to work within us today, helping us grow stronger in our faith and become faithful followers of Christ. May this celebration inspire us to open our hearts to Godโ€™s Spirit and allow His peace to shine through us in our daily lives.

Parish Youth Festival Opens with Reflection, Games, and Worship in Matanao

Youths from zones 1-9 gathered at Holy Cross of Matanao for the opening day of the Parish Youth Festival, which began with the praying of the Chaplet and Holy Rosary. The gathering continued with an inspiring talk on commitment by Br. Eper Banggaan, who shared that commitment is a promise made to serve faithfully and remain true to oneโ€™s responsibilities and relationships. Through the group sharing and plenary discussion that followed, the youth were given the opportunity to reflect on how commitment shapes their faith and daily lives.

Excitement and laughter filled the venue during the Larong Pinoy activities, where participants enthusiastically joined games such as Trip to Jerusalem and dodgeball, with Zone 7 emerging victorious.

As evening came, the atmosphere shifted into a moment of prayer and worship as the youth lifted their voices in praise, offered their intentions to God, and ended the day united in faith and gratitude.
