JUST IN| For 76 years, this sacred Thanksgiving Sunday lifted our hearts in humble adoration and declare with one voice: “I GIVE YOU PRAISE.” Today, we acknowledge the steadfast love of God who has carried us through every season, provided for our needs, strengthened our faith, and surrounded us with grace upon grace. As recipients of His unending mercy, we honor the Lord with gratitude for the blessings seen and unseen—victories won, prayers answered, and breakthroughs still unfolding.

With renewed devotion, we commit our lives to His service, our praises to His glory, and our thanksgiving as a living testimony of His goodness. To the God who never fails, who remains faithful from generation to generation—we give You praise!

We, the MATANAO ALLIANCE CHURCH FAMILY faithfully entrusted the shepherds back to the Lord through prayers for the greater heights of the Lord's work and great commission for the expansion of God's glory and beyond.

To our Beloved Rev. Romeo Dela Rosa and Family and Rev. Albert Alang and Family

As we gather to bid you farewell in your pastoral role here at Matanao Alliance Church, our hearts are filled with both joy and bittersweet gratitude. Joy—because we celebrate the divine promotion God has entrusted to you as our new District Ministry Supervisor. Bittersweet—because your presence, wisdom, and shepherd’s heart will be deeply missed in our local fellowship.

You have led us with humility, preached the Word with boldness, and nurtured this flock with a love that mirrored Christ. Through seasons of celebration and trials, your faith has been a lamp to our path and a pillar of hope. Your leadership has not only built up this church—it has shaped lives, restored families, and brought many to the feet of Jesus.

Now, as God calls you to a broader field, we are reminded that the Kingdom is ever expanding. Your influence will now bless many churches, many pastors, and many communities. The seeds you have sown here will continue to bear fruit, even as you sow new ones in DOMA.

We send you off with our prayers, our love, and our blessing. May the Holy Spirit empower you with fresh vision, wisdom, and strength. And may you continue to be a faithful servant in the vineyard of the Lord, now with a wider reach and a higher calling.

You may be leaving the MAC pulpit, we will miss you in our corporate worship gathering but never in our hearts. WE ALWAYS LOVE AND SUPPORT YOU BY THE GRACE OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS GLORY!

BEYOND THE WALLS: A PASTORAL LIFE OF MISSION

In the heart of Matanao, where golden fields stretch under open skies and communities thrive in close-knit harmony, stands a sanctuary that has long been a beacon of faith, hope, and service—the Matanao Alliance Church. For 75 years, this church has been more than just a place of worship; it has been a spiritual home, a source of strength, and a hub of God-glorifying ministry. At the center of it all are men, women and children whose unwavering commitment to the Lord’s work has shaped lives and stirred with revival. What makes their service remarkable? It extended beyond the church walls-from leading corporate worship, bible studies, prayer meetings, vacation bible school, ushering children, youth and adult to missions, comforting the bereaved families, caring the elderly, organizing outreach in barangays, or simply offering a listening ear to the discouraged, these individuals lived out the love of Christ with integrity and joy.
“We are not called to be famous; we are called to be faithful.” And faithful they have been.

A Heritage of Faithfulness… Long before pews were polished, hymns and songs were sung in the current sanctuary, the ministry of Matanao Alliance Church was birthed in prayer. Through seasons of growth, trials, and transformation, there have always been faithful stewards of the Gospel who chose obedience over comfort, purpose over popularity, and calling over convenience. Some served as elders and deacons, guiding the congregation with wisdom. Others labored quietly—cleaning the church grounds, preparing communion, teaching Sunday School, or offering food and counsel to the weary. Each role, however small it seemed, was done for an audience of One.

A Living Testimony… The testimonies of younger generations speak volumes. Many who now serve in leadership or have become missionaries themselves trace their spiritual formation back to the consistent love and guidance of these mentors. Their influence is a ripple effect—spreading far beyond what can be measured.
Just as the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV), “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain,” so too do these faithful servants embody the power and promise of a life poured out for Christ.

A Tribute of Gratitude… To the tireless shepherds of Matanao Alliance Church—past and present—a sincerest thanks. Your devotion has built not just a ministry but a movement. Your sacrifices, seen and unseen, have brought glory to God and transformation to countless lives. You have been the hands and feet of Jesus in a world that so desperately needs Him.

As we look forward to the future of Matanao Alliance Church, may your legacy inspire new generations to rise up with the same fervor, humility, and love. May God’s torch of ministry you carry be passed on—burning brighter still with each step forward in faith.
