Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur is all about repentance.
It is a day where we afflict our souls.

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Leviticus 23:27

Let us come before our Lord Jesus and remember how we are saved from darkness into His glorious light. A day of fasting to worship and thank God for all He has done.
